Peamunilla Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 I tried opening GTA SA, but I got an error message saying, "The procedure entry point ogg_stream_reset_serialno could not be located in the dynamic link library ogg.dll." I tried looking for help about this, but all the links people gave were broken.. And I'm not really sure on what any of this means.. I'd just love to get back to playing GTA. (: Help? lil weasel Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 (edited) Have you reinstalled the game, yet? How is your Game installed? Do you have the Original DVD in the drive when you play? What Version? Did you mod the game. Did the Game ever work? That Error appears to be associatied with a Downloaded game rather than a purchased (Legal) game. SEARCH of this forum shows an identical topic from 2006-2007 with No final Fix, other than reinstalling the game. (sadly) && I have not modded the game, and yes, it has worked before. o: If I need to reinstall, Is there a way to reinstall it without losing my data? Purchase a disc (currently available V2) and downgrade it for modded play. Downloaded games are Not moddable. Help with modded games is available in the Modding Forums.
