layolan Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Hey, It's layolan.. lol. Anyway, My Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas crashes when I load a load file. I have recently bought it off of steam, but realized I wanted to play with mods. I had gotten far in the game and realized I had SA sitting on my shelf. Everything runs smoothly up to loading. Even the loading goes fine. Then my screen blackens and then it crashes. There is no error report and my computer is Well fit to run the game. (Noting I had gotten far in the game with Steam) I have not modded the game yet. The version of the game of course to mod, is V1. If you guys could help me.. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate edition. If so, then that is the problem, as the Steam save ARE NOT compatible with the DVD version of the game...so, you will have to start a new game on the DVD version to get the game to work right...Just a heads up.
