Rockstar20124
So, this 4th of July weekend was a Quadruple XP online weekend for RDR. I played it again for finally getting Rank 50 I hate the multiplayer versus in RDR with lack of variety in weapons, vehicles, mandatory dull shootouts before each match and mandatory grab the bag circulation with deathmatches after each match (there is no deathmatch (only) option), no blips all aka high ground camp fest, no killing with a horse whether it would be a horse kick to the head or just storming into an enemy and such. But I do really like the coop free roam clearing enemy hideouts You start with all your (unlocked) weapons including dynamite, knives, tomahawks, faster revolvers, sniper, shotgun and such. Unlike the horrible versus mode which limits your weapons terribly literally only to a couple of guns and there is barely dynamite, one weapon spawn point max per map, with these weapon spawn points also very limited in general and badly placed GTA IV is much better with lots of grenades and other strong weapons for everyone all over the place in versus multiplayer Anyway, I just saw a couple of articles from a few days ago and even a little bit further back with evidence from the official Rockstar Games twitter account that there will be NEW Free DLC for RDR in a couple of weeks Here are some links: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-06-...tion-dlc-coming http://twitter.com/#!/RockstarGames/st...213367303389184 http://www.gamefront.com/new-free-red-dead...lc-coming-soon/ Could we finally see some hints to GTA V in this DLC? And how do you think Rockstar North could show it to us? Maybe some wanted posters with an ancestor of the possible protagonist? A DeLorean car as an hommage to Back to the Future III...with a date? Remember, the FANTASTIC Back to the Future trilogy takes place in Hill Valley, a fictional town in California What hints do you think Rockstar North might finally show us? MiamiVice1984
I really doubt R* will hint at a new GTA in another one of their games like RDR or LA Noire when they just easy can add a hint to IV with a small update.
Maxsbigbro
i guess it's possible but really unlikely if you ask me since R* probably wont give any hints in a diffrent franchise, but i might be wrong, idk if and gta hints were an any of the man hunts or visa versa
Matty
I highly doubt that will hint at the next Grand Theft Auto in the upcoming Red Dead Redemption DLC. They haven't done it outright in the past, I somehow don't think that they will start now. What I am saying is that there weren't any hints in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City that lead to the then-next Grand Theft Auto game being set in San Andreas, and there where no hints in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas that lead to any conclusions that Grand Theft Auto IV was going to be set in Liberty City; unless if you count the mission "Saint Mark's Bistro" (where you fly to Liberty City) as a hint -- but I would say that this is more of a coincidence then anything else. Actually, to check IV hints, you'd have to look in VCS, as that was the last GTA beIV. <---I will never do that again. OT though, I highly doubt R* would include any hints in RDR's DLC. Ryan
Red Dead is a totally different game than GTA, so I'm 100% sure we won't see anything.

Coincidentally there was a small update when I booted GTA IV on Xbox about 20 minutes ago. Probably not a hint, but I thought about how easy it would be. On-topic - No hint in RDR. Rockstar20124
More information about the FREE RDR Fan Appreciation DLC. It will be released somewhere in september. It's called the Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/arti...-pack-dlc-.html Hopefully by that time there will be already more information for GTA V including a trailer? If not, then I will be looking for clues for GTA V in the new multiplayer maps

LittleBlueTroll
Yeah i dont see why they would bury hints in a totally different game when they could just tell the public anytime they wanted? Even if they ever did, it wouldnt make any sense to me as to why they would do it

RDR is basically Grand Theft Horse With almost the exact same controls for jumping, running, shooting and such with the same great RAGE engine from GTA IV
LittleBlueTroll
The above photo to me, is someone with well to much time on their hands reading too hard into a silly screen shot. It might of amazed a few people here and there, but im not buying it. And what i meant by not revealing GTA V hints in another games is that im sure R* would drop any GTA V related OFFICIAL content publicly, and not hide in within another game, Easter eggs excluded. Yeah but those easter eggs, I feel they are not for future announcements but for tribute to great achivements or classics (talking about games) isn't it? Yes indeed, and at this moment in time we know NOTHING about the next GTA, so how could we spot any clues, hints or easter eggs in this DLC if we dont know anything about the next GTA? I hope what im saying makes sense to everyone.

You are making sense...we have NO OFFICIAL information whatsoever....but there were hints in previous games Not only GTA games like the Miami/Vice City clues in GTA III for example....but also RDR in GTA IV ! Have you seen the Spittoon western commercial in GTA IV television on Weazel? Spittoon commercial starts at 0.36. Definitely a HUGE hint for RDR. The commercial was made with the same engine and models from Red Dead Revolver from the PS2/XBOX era Red Dead Revolver trailer
Ash_735
The difference with the above though is that RDR was already announced long before GTA IV came out.
