Stinky12
Notebooks aren't mean for games as their graphic cards are not equivalent to their desktop counterpart. The fastest mobile card from Nvidia is the GTX 580M, to some, they will think this card has the same performance to a desktop version of the GTX 580. In reality that is not the case as, according to the web it's performance is about that of a desktop GTX 560Ti. Current fastest mobile graphics is the HD6990M. Check if your laptop implements Nvidia Optimus. If it does, it's completely normal to see readings of Intel graphics in DXDIAG etc.

Speccy would probably tell. it can sometimes tell me what my pny/kingstons memory modules are (they are infamous for disguising their chips after we wore them out grabbing only their samsung and infineons)
xhavefunx
okey ppl, there is something rly intresting.. 8-) when i brought computer there was installed Nvidia Driver , but on dxdiag it still show that i have intel videocard , btw my brother friend have exactly the same computer as i do and he can play GTA IV 8-) i have no idea how ... My cousin has just bought a laptop with one integrated graphics card and a nvidia graphics card ( Forgot which one exactly, doesn't matter ) Sometime's, the better graphics card will be automaticly used when its too hard for the intel graphics card. But at other game's, you can choose which graphics card u want to use. For example: PES11 H.A.W.X. But make sure you have a nvidia driver installed. But anyway, i don't think you are able to run GTA IV with both of your graphics card
diablo440
6470M is also 64bit, but has ~140 more cores than the latest intel HD.. The fastest 64bit graphics there is, even for desktop, chokes out on IV even at minimal settings..
