*MURDOC*
Happy "Indepence Day" to "My Fellow Americans", especially those who were "Born on the 4th of July", since it's extra special for you. So enjoy the "Fireworks", but try not to get "Heatstroke", which may be a challenge, since I know how "Some like it hot".

trip
Happy 4th of July neighbours! I'd like to be in a big city to see the fireworks that go off tonight! You should try this city, since this is where it all began. We take it pretty serious, and our 4th of July celebrations go all weekend with the big finisher tonight. I don't go out, because it is just too crazy. I'm going to miss the Earth, Wind, and Fire concert, but I am able to see the big fireworks display from my house. cactus.
people in Hartford are confused, all the fireworks were last night! Icarus
Congratulations to the United States of America, who on this day 235 years ago, rejected their title of Bitch of the British Empire and who, throughout the years, became one of the most powerful countries in the world. While you are still a young nation, you have certainly seen your fair share of triumphs and tragedies in a short time. While as a Canadian I sometimes find myself at odds with decisions of your government that seem to interfere with Canadian sovereignty or where our country gets the short of the stick, for the most part, I have nothing against the United States and on this day, I wish you all a Happy Independence Day. Â Just don't dare try and make an attempt to invade us again like you did in the War of 1812. We* took Washington, D.C. once and we'll do it again! Â *I realize we were still part of the British Empire at the time, but I still like to think of it as Canada.
Rebel
Well there wont be that amazing fireworks show in Arizona. Unless you count the ''fire safe'' fireworks. Whatever the hell they turn out to be! Other than that I've been celebrating since Friday and well, don't think I'll be going out to celebrate tonight or today. Might be able to see the fireworks from where I live now but I'm not counting on anything. I'm going to be chilling and probably watch Forrest Gump
Moonshield
Â WELCOME TO ERF. d0mm2k8
Â Congratulations to the United States of America, who on this day 235 years ago, rejected their title of Bitch of the British Empire and who I'm not really patriotic and aren't really bothered in the end but I kind of disagree with the idea of them being the Empire's bitch. Although I honestly ain't that fluent with my American Revolution history knowledge, what I've gathered from the fairly little I've studied of it is that the colonies generally started revolution due to not liking the taxes that were 'forced' upon them. Â However, weren't these taxes necessary to pay for the fighting the British army went through to protect the colonies from the natives and other colonial powers? Also, weren't these taxes something like 2% of what the average person in the homeland had to pay? The Boston massacre was also hardly a 'massacre' since the Redcoats only killed five men and it's speculated that some Boston trouble-maker shouted 'Fire' anyways. Â As I said, I'm hardly an American history expert and fully expect someone such as sivispacem to come and whoop my ass in regards to this post, but whatever. If America stayed a British territory, it wouldn't be the fantastic country is it today (well, minus the Bible-belt states that is). Â So to conclude this long winded and possibly incorrect post; Happy 4th of July!

Those f*ckwits in Boston were throwing rocks at the soldiers, they wanted a fight and went out there to deliberately provoke us. I guess it worked. Â Yeah, happy Independence Day and all that. We* took Washington, D.C. once and we'll do it again! What counts as an invasion? If I step over the border holding a large sign that says "US invasion force!111!" will you please you come take DC again? Or, if you don't want it either, at least maybe come dig a trench around it filled with lava then launch plague rats into it with a trebuchet or something?
