Recommended Posts

@ZBNYNC

thank you sir :-)

"all handmade", most textures are self-assembled

Where can i download?

If you click on the download link in his signature, you can download all of his textures there.

The roads aren't released yet though, he said he'd have them done soon.

Not sure if this project is still proceeding forward.

I wanted to make some real life looking trees and shrubs. This is a summer vegetation pack and also working on a fall one. I am using a few textures from DKT because they're BOSS and making some custom ones . This is still a WIP. Any feedback is welcome.

Thanks for the comments. I do plan on continuing and releasing this pack along with a fall one. I am also fixing the shiny grass and dirt problem when it rains. Here is some more pics along with the fixed texture comparison.

looks damn nice man.

can you tell how to fix the shiny texture thing?

Page 3 of this topic about 3/4's of the way down, Benny_ posted a tutorial on how to change the shader settings for every texture. I am currently combing through every img file for every part of Libery City and changing the grass, dirt, and sand values and also sharpening all textures. Keep in mind, if you download an HD pack from Lord Neophyte or someone else, it will overwrite all your work because their pack doesn't contain the changed shader values for the textures.

I'm thinking of releasing seperate packs of .odr files for sections of Liberty City that only affect certain textures with changed shader values which would not mess with anyone else's work. Would this be something people would be interested in? Unfortunately, you would have to use openIV and import every .odr file manually.....which is not difficult....just time consuming. Hope this makes sense.
