Modded 10 peds, replaced models and such , during cutscenes too.

@ Vanni/Mike (hehe) great job on the trees mate...... i did notice a small problem with the archway tex though..... easily seen tiling..... you can easily see where the textures join i mean...... no worries very easy to fix......... i will fix it and show you what i mean... Absolutely mind blowing O_____O especially the last one.

 

Anyway I found that Peds don't spawn when the textures is too high.

I'm gonna reduce them to 512 i'll see.

For the bug i've noticed one time when i was repainting station at 2048, then i reduced at 1024... but i was thinking if we can modify the peds spawning, like the taxi fix i have ...but i don't know how to do, maybe downscale at 512 your peds and the difference will be little wink.gif

 

 

P.S. when i 'll finish all the vegetation texturing i'll make a short video "a walk in the park" and then i can share the veg .img

One question... cool.gif ...what resolution do u use for ur textures?

 

@GTA 3: Thanks, I'm very pleased smile.gif! It seems a bit blurred, because some textures are embed in the *.wdr-file and theres no separate texture-file. So ich i can just use SparkIV to change it and it not support to change the resolution of the texture, like OpenIV do. Anyway, I have to use the given resolution (512x512) for it ;-)!

Or does anybody knows another solution? :-/

read at the GooD-NTS post, he help me a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!! biggrin.gif:D

first export wdr in a folder, then edit textures in that folder, and then multi import the odr file wich will load that textures, don't make 2048 texture, even 1024 are good because if the texture you paint is detailed don't need high resolution wink.gif

wonderful benny...

a suggestion to you: try to hold an order in your file, a structure, or in few days of modding, you will have tons of texture and a lot of disorder :S

for exapmle . take a quartier such as brooker and make a list of all files, then work add and update your list with finished file , i'm doing this way and it's easier to remeber everything wink.gif

One question, Vanni: U've made a filelist of all files in each archive? (All texture and model files e.g. of brooker_s.img)

Or what do u mean with a "list"?
