Or the older members from the 2003 (?) era can explain. I did some searching yesterday and I saw a few references to him "abusing his position" in the Myriad forums, but that was it. Yeah, I knew about Demarest (I even have a link to his arrest video) but I never knew Cerbera abused any power. I always wondered why he wasn't in any official groups and wasn't a moderator. Kutthroat was the guy who had the seizure (or did he just pass out?) and suffocated right? Poor guy. R.I.P. It was essentially the playground for the rich and the powerful. Wealthy people would come up from the city to the Catskills. The hotels itself was visited by a few presidents and was considered New York's crowning jewel, at least up until the late 1880s. At this time the hotel was in a state of decline, wealthier people pushed north for their luxurious vacations, quickly the Adirondack mountains eclipsed the Catskills. Coupled with the death of the original owner the resort had no choice but to close. It's last season of service was in 1941. Eventually the structure fell into a state of decay, any attempt to renovate the building was futile. Eventually the Conservation Department of New York state acquired the property in 1962. (Interestingly enough my my great Uncle, or great-great Uncle or something like that was the acting president of the Conservation Department at the time). Anyway, they made the executive decision to burn the structure down, despite its historical significance. Now all that remains are hiking trails and some old ruins, along with a watchtower (we all know which one). There are almost countless stories about the Catskill Mountain House, it's a popular ghost destination around here. I can't say if any of them are true or not, but the myth itself is interesting enough. Anyway, I will save the rest for another time. On the one hand, the argument was that the image wasn't sexualised in any way, and therefore it had been posted purely on grounds of artistic merit and should be allowed to be posted. However, on the other, was the fact that the girl in question didn't look over the age of eighteen years old and therefore it was classed as a photo of a minor despite the fact that she wasn't being sexualised or exploited in any way. I suppose this was shocking (for some) not only for the content, but because, for the first time in a while it saw Gen Chat engaged in a topic far beyond the intellectual realm of such issues as 'how long is ur pen0r' and 'wot culor is ur bethrum'...
