For me I play both depending on how I intend to play the game, If I intend to play with the chopper or in the car I play aa off, if Im going onfoot I go aa on. My preferences are set to "dont care'. It isnt so hard to play without AA, you get used to it after a while. However, my preference for Auto Aim is set to "disallow". I switched to aa off to improve my skill. In aa off you never get that "you kill each other at the same time" thing happening. But hey each to their own. johnwontscore Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I like aa on mostly since most pilots stay away from those games so I don't get into too many angry dogfight contests (most pilots are such uptight wankers) and I get to see if I can kill M4s before they kill me. But if I play on the ground, aa off is better since it's more skilful and fun and you can do suicide bombing more effectively and suicide bombing is just so funny. And most of these aren't even creative, they use only rifles with auto-lock target Ever use grenades, shotguns or molotovs in AA games? Nope. Don't tell me now about preferences. When noone joins a disallow game and I stay in the lobby for 15minutes - I get pissed off, then I join AutoAim matches with the only purpose to mess up the game, only if high ranks are in and well known names, it's not fun to f*ck up randomers. GOD I hope so! last night i had to resort to playing with auto aim enabled just to get a freakin game!. I made sure we were using standard weapons though. I think rockstar need to really consider this a real option for the next game. Countless times in a game of TMW has a particular mission brouht the game to a stand-still. Such as transporting the briefcase missions. People from opposing teams are hiding behind walls, seemingly unwilling to budge until the other guy steps out. I cant go bombing round the corner in my car to wipe them out no matter how quick i am (double tap AA) im finished. You may say this is part of the game. Its GTA NOT THE SIMS. You even get people flying away with the mission item in a chopper to an unreachable location becaue they know people will leave and they get a cheap victory.If there any cheap way to win tmw aa players will use it. Disallow standard weapons is tolerable until the armoured van misson spawns ect.I hope they dont remove tmw and cnc but I have feeling they will focus more on the free roam element this time much the same as they done with RDR. Howver im sure if there is enough interest they could add things to game same as RDR with hardcore modes ect. Hardcore TMW or hardcore CnC ect ect.The hardcore modes will be rewarded with more XP than autoaim for obvious reasons. It all depends on the setting of the game.If the game map is very large and one island then they would have to introduce sections of map for games to take place like TBOGT DM. I would think that they might change game mode slightly so they fit more with the game`s setting but retain the core objectives for existing games like TMW and CnC.I would like to see more use of bulidings and boats in TMW for example.Perhaps even adding gang buildings that have to be protected along with doing the missions.Like a TW/TMW hybrid.Im not sure.... but there is plenty of room for additions that would make a very compelling game type.The use of choppers is an issue.I know many people enjoy using the chopper and I admit it brings a different element to the game.However they can be used as a very very very cheap tactic.Blading should be removed as it f*cking stupid and unrealistic.Maybe they should put a time limit on how long you can hold a mission item with a chopper or armoured van ect. They should fix the bug that allows you to retain mission vehicles like the armoured van because it too much of an advantage to anyone player worth his salt. They lobbies need changed so you cant switch teams.This would encourage more use of party mode to keep friends together.There lots of things that can be improved and with amount of time between GTA4 and GTA5 Im expecting every box to be ticked. A J Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 I love how much you hate this armoured van glitch, I have never encountered it being used, but I'm sure its damn annoying, anyways like I said to you in a PM on the PSN, I too was desperate for a game of TMW, resorted to AA, blips on but powerful ( I can bare powerful AA, rpgs for corner huggers, and powerful sniper vs m4 I win most times) But seriously the guys playing this game were fcking assholes, reverse infernusing, camping mission objectives with m4, team stacking in lobbies, I thought (being undercover I'd fck em up) but there's no way of doing it in TMW unlike CnC, I did manage to do quite well at the beginning, but it was the worst experience of GTA in my life, its no wonder people who havent played it much, get put off it, my real life friends think its crap, seriously Rockstar need to make disallow the default for online gaming, make the ability to use autoaim disabled once you reached rank 2 or something, f*ckng 10 star noobs, go suck a cock, madridy777, IBANGGUNS, jonypl (Highest ranked CnC'ers) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its so simple. I swear when im in a free mode and hear people say they hate auto aim, I say "Then go to a lobby without auto aim. If you hate auto aim then why are you in a lobby with auto aim?" Simple, set your prefence to auto aim disable. There, problem solve. Other thing I have been hearing people say is auto aim should be taken out of GTA. So let me get this straight, people who like to play with different setings in their multiplayer game are bad and should only be allow to play with the same settings as you? Thats like saying if you don't like to play with cops on then no one else should be allowed to play with cops on. IF YOU DON'T LIKE AA GO TO ANOTHER MP GAME AND KEEP YOUR f*ckING MOUTH SHUT. other people like myself included, like auto-aim cause its easier (at least for me) and if you think it sucks then you don't know what GTA is. GTA was introduced with auto-aim in GTA III , so if you don't like it, then to me you are not a true GTA fan, and please don't bother arguing with me cos i'm not going to respond. You're not really a Third Person "Shooter" if all you do is pull the trigger. If you don't want to improve in the game and remain as bad as when you started playing MP, as well as play with others who never looked to improve their skills. I play with AA off all the time to actually improve my gameplay, so do most "good" people in GTA. Although I do turn on AA when playing Hangman's NOOSE because it's just easier to sit back and shoot at cops, yet I never play hangman's NOOSE.
