[WIP][IV] GTA III Rage

Yes, the model is so good I'll complement it twice. Very nice job.

 

But I was thinking of a map mod idea. The HD version would work out better. So the idea is GTA 3's LC (the HD one) as a map mod next to IV's LC. Now I dO think you should keep up you're curent work, but it would be cool. III's LC is small and it may be possible to fit it in the map bounds, with out moving IV's map  Starting at Shoreside Vale it would be as far south west as possible and south of Alderny. Portland would end up south of Algonquin. Another spot is as far south east as the map will go. I usally dont like to mess with the Algonquin Skyline though. So do you think the map would fit?

 

Also is the HD map's model scale to IV's? III erra models are a larger scale.

Mix? Possible, but in future, first we need to complete III city with all features.

I agree with you there. I'd say finish the city first.

 

But if someone does that mod, it should be called The Liberty City Trilogy.

In my opinion, to the HD claude discussion, you can' really make him look exactly like claude since the model is very low poly which leads people to speculate how he would look IRL and everyones imagination is different.

But i agree with you about original Claude.. He is very Low Poly and he may have some issues with animation in gta 4.

I did an HD head model in max it's W.I.P. I'm not so god at making hair neither at making texture.But if you like it you can use my head model.

Good progress, but need to remodelling the hear.

 

P.S. I'm think the current logo isn't good. I'm think to change it, but some people don't agree with me..

I did an HD head model in max it's W.I.P. I'm not so god at making hair neither at making texture.But if you like it you can use my head model.

That actually looks pretty sweet I wouldn't mind maybe seeing it up on one of those download sites and then people can choose which Claude they want to use, because I would probably use onepiece body and this head.

 

maybe onepiece or even vakooja if he's still around could have a stab at making and HD texture for this head.

I will make the HighPoly Head, Boots and etc. My friend(Mr.Myriad) help to make the legs.

P.S. It's for GTA 3 HD and GTA 3 Rage.

You should to that if you fighting with one of them the hat will fall of their hads smile.gif

Yeah your hat has too many polys and is all smooth where it should have sharp edges. Id suggest making it again.

This hat has 720 Polys.. I think it's normally...

If you see the indicator on the top left - i have some poly because i have imported Columbian guy. He was hide in scene when i make a screen...

But i may to less some polys.

In all respect, since the only significant map changes are for missions and the textures look different and less detailed, what would be the point? Theres no mission stuff and the only thing you could do is get a low poly player model and clean cars

Farries, upper east corner of Staunton island is completly different. It would be cool to have thats all. I sugested an idea like this to the VCR team about having one game be GTA VC, and the other game be GTA VCS. Its possable to do on EFLC.

LCS? No, maybe after rеlease III, but not now.

About EFLC - already ported, because i havent 4, just episodes. Solom, Dan, Sleepy have gta4.

So you will do LCS version for IV/EFLC i would be happy.

Once I get the Rhino working on the IV version of VCR and IV:SA I may help you get it working on the IV version of your mod. TLAD also if you decide to do the LCS idea later on.

What we're finish at the moment:

1.Convert all town, but some buildings isn't highpoly and some textures isn't HD.

2.Some buildings near second Claude savehouse.

3.Police Departament in Portland.

4.Claude head and cloth(not all).

5.40% Vehicles is converted.

 

What we will do:

1.Timecyc (weather).

2.New HighPoly buildings and HD Textures.

3.Weapons.

4.New collisions (because the old is horrible).

5.New interiors(possible).

6. Tobj and more 2dfx effects, lights.

 

 

Once I get the Rhino working on the IV version of VCR and IV:SA I may help you get it working on the IV version of your mod. TLAD also if you decide to do the LCS idea later on.

Rhino isn't convert. If Rhino will done, i tell you and you may to help setting it..

I think many people want to know when release will be. We can see some not good expirence of early releases on ivsa and vcr, so we dont want to do these same errors again in our mod. We will release it after we make all hd and fixing all known bugs. We will do 2-weeks of total testing rc version for find and fix all bugs.
