The Notorious D.A.N
Ok here is my problem: I took the head from one SA's ped and I put it on another one's body I rigged it, then I added the first's texture to the second ped TXD file, to have the head desired texture. Then I open Ped Editor and select the ped: everything seems to be alright, the texture shows on the ped face but when i get in game, the texture doesn't show correctly or isn't loaded on the head of the ped (it's black) I already did that (move a ped's head to another ped body) and it worked the first time but i'm pretty sure it's txd workshop error or something like that , any ideas? foxunitone
If you used 3ds max it may not have exported the mapping on the head correctly. Re-load your model in max. Use TXD editor to extract the textures for the body and the head in TGA format. Go to your model and select editable mesh. Use either face or element setting to select everything but the head. Drag the body texture TGA on to it. Now do the same for the head. You should see your ped looking correct. If not, one of the textures is bad. If it looks correct, then make sure the skin is selected and click the bones/skin export and re-export the model. Now go to TXD workshop. Click IMAGE, new, 32bit. Now click on the new slot and go to properties and change the name to the EXACT one of the texture. Check compressed and okay. Then click on IMPORT and import the TGA with that same name and save. If the image has an alpha, you will have to switch between the image/alpha/mixed settings when you import. Let me know if you need help with that. -Fox
