I did lots of debating, made a pretty big mark then got banned lol I was almost like this sites Zee, I'll still go back and lurk around there time to time and see myself getting mentioned.. Also infamous ≠ famous Yeah it made me look like a major c*nt xD lol no but it was all in good fun I would always get messages from people how they really enjoyed my posts, it was more a clever styled trolling to get interesting debates/discussions going, actually not really even trolling in the sense of making people mad but just stir things up a bit. The vibe with that particular forum was amazing, everyone was just stoners so the sense of humor was usually real laid back across the board and there was an age requirement to join. Of course you could lie about your age but as long as you were mature you wouldn't get noticed.. nothing like the V section on here. I really liked it because the people were so open minded to different things, really allowed for some deep and interesting conversations. There are a few people on here that are fun to debate with because they always bring good material to the discussion and things to think about, but mostly it's just immature kids on here not even old enough to buy the game this site revolves around.. I used to be on Gametrailers, but I got banned because the moderators think they're untouchable and I refused to kiss their asses. I'm a mod, well at least I was, over at ThatFatAtheist forums. It's the official fansite for the v-logger "TheAmazingAtheist". I was demoted after some asshole usurped his way into an administrative position and made himself the webmaster. He even banned the Amazing Atheist. I tried to get on there actually but they denied my application because I forgot to give an example of meta-gaming after giving a definition lol I had to wait days before being able to turn in another app so I just didn't bother trying again. How is it compared to 'soft'-RPG servers? I played on Springvale for a bit and I enjoyed it but there were alot of immature kids on there.. I would try a strict rpg server but I just don't really know if I want to do That much typing, the job commands alone in Springvale can be enough sometimes lol. No, I agree. 4Chan was either too full of cynicism or the types of people you see on Youtube, depending on the board. I used to love going to /x/ and /g/, but eventually I realized /g/ almost never talked about anything other than desktops, tablets, and building computers and any discussion was just argument that never got anywhere. And /x/ was the board /b/ enjoyed going to when they found the top-bar, although besides that they're still okay. Otherwise I haven't found any good boards, /diy/ has posted some nice plywood though . While imageboards are being discussed I'd like to mention Megachan. They have boards for steampunk, cyberpunk, general science fiction, the post-apocalypse, and pictures of cityscapes. It's really slow, but it's a great forum. GTA_stu Posted February 2, 2013 Share Posted February 2, 2013 I'm an internet monogamist, I've just got the 1 forum I'm a part of. Everyone else seems to be part of multiple ones mostly. I feel like I'm living in Utah, any minute now some guy is gonna walk down my street and start having a five-some in my front lawn with his wives. Although a more apt comparison would probably be that some nerdy 14 year old sits on my front lawn with his laptop, and opens five tabs, one for each forum that he's a part of.
