lukb13
In italy, my country, some time ago was relasedAn artical talking about gta 5, it is quite "old" so the informations are nt so fresh Hovewer, it was reported a day so i report it here (traduced) I don t know how it is reliable, but u ma be interessed: I think someone mixed GTA 5 up with L.A Noire. Young cop, moral choice. Sounds a hell of alot like noire if you ask me. Reading some of the post; Doesn't sound like L.A. Noire at all, besides Los Santos being based off of Los Angeles, and the protagonist being a cop. There were no player/character moral choices in L.A. Noire. I'm not saying I believe the content, however. There are choices on who you arrest. Moral choices on who to arrest gives you better ratings. based on walkthroughs I looked at. But the content is saying moral choices similar to Red Dead Redemption. I'm not sure how moral choices have to do with choosing who to arrest. Playing through L.A. Noire, it's either arresting one guy or the other. That's just a choice; nothing really moral about it. Hey guys, I contacted this girl to ask for a confirmation about her role and she actually answered with "yes i actually did y?" I'm gonna email her back to ask for more details! Nice, man. Did you just ask in general to confirm her role, or specifically about the whole number ordeal? The choices have an effect on your result right? That's what I mean by moral choices. In the arrest choices one suspect is more morally inappropriate than the other. A molester vs the victim's husband. Communist vs lover. Anarchist vs unknown. Those clearly has moral decisions written all over it. Read RDR walkthrough as well, and there is a striking similarity.

Yeah the people themselves are moralistic, but I'm talking about the protagonist/player themselves. Things like honor and fame were in Red Dead Redemption, but in L.A. Noire there's not any of that for the player. Storywise, sure, but definitely not made into a system for the players to have variation.

There is a RATING SYSTEM in LA Noire. And choosing the first of each one I mentioned gives you a better rating.
Duxfever
I KNOW there's a rating system in L.A. Noire. Yes, choosing one or the other affects your rating, but it still has nothing to do what I'm trying to say. I'm just trying to say that in general to this whole thing, that L.A. Noire does NOT have a morality system LIKE Red Dead Redemption. L.A. Noire has a rating system, but it only tells you how much clues you've gotten and questions correct out of the total. It does NOT give you something like "fame" or "honor" like Red Dead Redemption does. That's all I'm trying to say.
lukb13
There is one other system in LA Noire. Numbers that have a strict moral code, not following that code will end up in mission failure.

Duxfever
I then asked for more details and I'm waiting for a reply. LOL I actually think that she replied you because she thought you were a casting agent or some sh*t... but this could mean that GTA is soon to be announced, call me crazy, but I have a gut feeling Sorry, I just like to have my point proven. But anyway, I'll respond to your post. ----- Hahah that would kindof be (right grammar?) scary if that were true. I mean, but it doesn't seem like that the way he wrote the message. I think that "Street" could probably mean pedestrian, or perhaps a random encounter possibly?

Did you see the amount of people they got for the pedestrians in IV? I wouldn't be surprised if they picked up a hobo or two to say a few lines. Probably would only make a couple of bucks. Yeah, I remember watching the credits for the each of the saga and was amazed of how much different ped voices there were. IIRC it kinda took awhile for that part of section in the credits to move on. Considering how much a vast improvement GTA V probably will be, I'm willing to bet the amount of voice actors to be at least 1.5X big as much as last time. More or less. lukb13
Ped voices were multiplied by at least 3 from San Andreas to IV. If they multiply it by that number again than who knows who did what voice.
AndreaXCII
I want to believe she was telling the truth so bad, but I'm not sure... The fact that she just credited herself to a "street girl" and not a character with an actual name does seem to lend some credibility to it. I mean, if she was doing it for publicity, wouldn't she put an actual name and not "street girl"? no, i think quite the opposite, i think it solidifies the legitimacy, if she was lying then she could put whatever she wanted since no info has been released by R* why would someone lie about such a minimal part
Kwandilibro
"Street girl"? She definitely voiced a hooker. Probably had her in their acting that sh*t out, too.

Seachmall
Probably said before but... Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish Accents: Puerto Rican / Italian / New York Dance: Hip – Hop, Salsa, Merengue This makes a Vice City setting seem more likely (with R* obsession with stereotyping cities anyway). valensim
She's HOT !!! ..... Jakee.
This is either fake or real, there's no 'typos' involved for one reason: I have spent about 30 minutes searching for her name in the iv manual, no luck. Same with rdr. Let's hope, and she looks saucy on that profile!

Finn 7 five 11
This is the second Resume i have seen, its not just coincidence, when you consider that R* supposedly confirmed GTA was well under way, it all adds up, and as most people here we have all estimated a 2012 release, and this just seems to fit in with that. On a sidenote, she is very good looking.

For christs sake, I said it rules out the possibility of being a typo as her name is in neither of the games credit pages, I didn't say she may have voiced them over? Jeez! Banks.
Very interesting but I find it hard to believe anything that has something to do with GTA V these days
JonMorocco
as surely NPC voices would be recorded and added last? Then that would make some sense, seeing how that GameSpot article said that "finishing touches" were being put on the game. this is pretty interesting.. Kirsty
No disrespect to her, but she probably doesn't realise the importance of putting such a game on her resume, which is why I'm leaning towards believing it. Either way though, surely NPC voices are the final bits to add? It could be an indication of how far they are, but then we don't know when she did it. JonMorocco
and not to mention it says she is fluent in Spanish, which adds legitimacy to those casting calls that hinted so strongly at a Los Santos setting.

Northeern
I then asked for more details and I'm waiting for a reply. Wow! That's pretty interesting I see no reason to not believe this The screenshot could be fake, but I don't think so, cause then he would have posted it at once, instead someone wanted him to take a screenshot and post it at this forum. So he did Another possibility is that the e-mail does not belong to Mimi Rodriguez, but some kind of troll, but that doesn't seem likely unless the resume is fake. Or.. He is a professional troll Edited July 1, 2011 by GTA4L1fe
