Kriskers
I'd like to buy a laptop, but since I'm also a gamer and going to make some amateur-movies on it, I would like a laptop that has power. The problem is: I live in Estonia and you don't get any Alienwares or Dell Precisions here and if you can- they sell these with a price that is beyond stupid levels. I saw that Dell XPS 15 has a decent price, decent power, but I don't know if its perfect. Then there's HP ENVY 17-1050ea. What are your opinions? What other options there might be? Finn 7 five 11
What is your budget? Otherwise there is endless options. Also what sort of games will you be playing? Edited June 30, 2011 by finn4life

ayushisrocking
you may opt for the Dell XPS 17 3D[yep, it possesses an in-built 3D-capable screen] if the budget suits you! I've a Dell XPS 14 with the specs outlined in my sig, and i must say, XPS 15 is also certainly a product you'd like to opt for. i've heard that XPS 14,15 and 17's In-built JBL speakers are the best laptop speakers ever! And indeed, the audio output is so excellent on my laptop, that i often don't consider plugging in my sennheiser headphones [or atleast when it comes to watching TV shows ] mind you, XPS 17 is available in Estonia, and according to Dell's website, you need to contact your sales representative to purchase and/or gather details. Also note that it has a Sandybridge[second-generation] Core i7 processor as well as a Blu-Ray drive http://www.dell.com/ee/p/xps-l702x/pd?~ck=anav EDIT: Oh well, in terms of USD, XPS 17 3D costs 1800 bucks in India. OverTheBelow
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16834152266 slightly better graphics card, higher resolution, 2x more RAM & harddrive space. it's only missing the 3D screen but lets be honest, you'll be bored quickly of it running at 20fps and it will eat battery life very fast. Actually, this computer according to dell is only $899 (1399 with the 3D not worth it imo) as opposed to $1499 for the one sugegsted in the quote. Do you know any local pc websites?
