COLWcF
Jeez man. I've got a better GPU, GTX 465. My processor, however is a Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5Ghz (I'm actually looking to upgrade to Sandy Bridge soon) and I lag balls in EFLC at lower settings than that. Although GTA IV at similar settings is OK for me. You're gonna wanna go up to a GTX 580. Hell, OCing is free, do both.
COLWcF
Look at your data: Statistics Average FPS: 52.66 Duration: 37.22 sec CPU Usage: 35% System memory usage: 33% Video memory usage: 100% BIG PART: VIDEO MEMORY USAGE 100% while the others are at 35% and 33%. That answers your question right there, get a direct X 11 card with a lot of RAM, and then SLI it.
monster875.
if i'm not wrong, then IV will run even worse with SLi than without
ralphdsm
hmmmm, think i might get a dx11 card p.s. the 285 is more powerful than the 465 p.s. im just kinda bummed that i cant crank it anymore, but i guess i have to spend more money to do so. The boost would be about 15fps in the benchmark and well in the city, pretty much no lag.

GTA 4 will only use 3 cores, so clockspeed is essential and those processors OC very well. Especially with the GTX 580.

COLWcF
sh*t I'd love that 8GB DDR3, getting an 2600K myself soon, huge upgrade for me, I'm on a Q9300 right now..... Anyways, the 465 is better than the 285....GDDR5 up from your 3, about 100 more CUDA cores I think, DX11, faster mem clock, and OpenGL 4.1. Not that anyone uses OpenGL but hey, why not....slightly slower GPU clock though.
