What specs would I need To play GTA IV on the highest settings? Would a quad-core processor and 4GB of RAM be enough? Obviously I would need a video card, any reccomendations?

Budget?

Is GTAIV the only thing you are looking to play?

Around £300, but I need a motherboard aswell. I will mainly play GTA, but I will also play some other games such as CoD

£300 for a graphics card or for the whole computer? For a whole computer unfortunately that isn't going to get a PC that'll even be able to launch GTA4.

Though, you can still get a fair PC for a bit above £300:

Change the Processor to the AMD Phenom II X4 640 3.00ghz and the graphics card to HD 6770. £441

Is your motherboard an AMD or Intel motherboard? And what type is it?
