my xbox 360 controller prob for gta 4

hello guys so this is my problem

i have a xbox 360 controller for windows 7 wired and it's dosen't work properly in gta 4 or any other game

in gta 4 while i am driving it shows me the sides of the car

any help will be aprreciated
