Kwandilibro
Damn. In the summer, it's typically 90F in my house, no matter what it feels like outside. On hot days it can reach, maybe 95. It got up to 100F a few times last summer in here. We've learned to deal with it.

WHAT!?
Erm... convert to Fahrenheit please? 38 ºC = 100.4 ºF As found on google: metric-conversions.org!! Now you too can take part in conversation about weather with your English brethren! Seriously though, don't be a lazy American. Its enough we have the fat thing. Adler
Nice, I can understand the rest of the world now. And I don't care too much about the fat thing. I'm sure Europe has fatties now and then too.

Finn 7 five 11
If you have 2 fans running at you, when you got to sleep you should be fine, just take your shirt off and have the fan blowing onto your back. If that doesn't help you sleep combined with everything else, you will: A) Never get to sleep when its warm. B) Or you can invest in an air conditioner. (yeah they are expensive.) shred durst
My AC isnt working right right now and I feel like I'm marinating in vinegary sack sweat.... ugh, this sucks!! Pretty dope... and those shrooms were tight as f*ck.
ptiko
I hate the English summer. I went out for bike ride yesterday, and there's nothing worse than being stuck at a red light whilst in a motorbike Jacket. Better to sweat to death than have no skin I guess. LittleBlueTroll
Another baking hot one today in London, im just about to leave for work and i seriously think ill die from drowning in my own sweat! I work at Argos, and i deal with the deliveries that come into the store, i spend the majority of my time upstairs in the warehouse, which has a TIN roof, NO aircon, and theres always 5-6 people working up there at any given time. Add that to the fact that my job mostly consists of me lugging heavy boxes around all day, and its a sweet road to exhaustion! Robinski
Been doing garden work all morning (sweeping and washing patio, cutting hedges, grass etc.) I'm hotter than I was in Spain a few weeks ago. Gotta do some more this afternoon and I don't think I can face it. It's so quintessentially British to complain about the weather being nicer than we usually get. It rains, we complain about "typical British summer". The sun shines and "Oh my god it's too hot!". Is there a type of weather we won't complain about?
Andrew
It is indeed British to complain about the weather, because we still have to work in it! If we were abroad or had access to a nice cool pool then we wouldn't moan as much! But yeah this recently has been a bit too much, was 31 degrees all day yesterday in my room, and woke up this morning to it being 28, was rather uncomfortable nights sleep. Currently sat at work in a nice Air conditioned office, only trouble is the car is parked in the sun, and whilst I did get my Air con regassed the other day, it turns out that the compressor has either siezed or taking ages to kick in. So the drive home will be lovely...
GTA_stu
Another sweltering day, my dog is panting away furiously and boy does she have bad breath. I find ice lollies are a good way of keeping cool and refreshed. I'll probably get through 4 or 5 today.

Mokrie Dela
One way to cool down is to get a cold flannel, and run it all over your chest and back (or anywhere else you wish) then stand in front of a fan. That sh*ts orgasmic in this weather. I've heard that having bowls/buckets of Ice (salt water thus frozen) around your room can help keep it cool. YEt to try that though The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. Click here to view my Poetry

Rhoda
Jesus Seb, I've just eaten eggs, what are you trying to do to me? It's impossible to enjoy this heat. The heat in the UK is different to everywhere else. It's like a weight.

CharmingCharlie
So the drive home will be lovely... Well look at it this way you could always take the train. After all Britain's public transport is only second to America, France, Spain, Italy, Ethiopia, Sudan, Libya, Iran, Iraq ............ ok it's pretty much second to every country on the planet . Ah wait a minute you can't take the train because a great number of services have been cancelled. First there was "it's the wrong kind of leaves on the track", then it was "it's the wrong kind of snow on the tracks" and now we bring you the "it's the wrong kind of solar radiation on the overhead wires" Anyway tis hot here too according to the temperature sensor on me clock it's 29c in the living room. The poor car is struggling to cope with the heat :- You can't see it but he is lying right next to the back door and he has an electric fan aimed at him . Thankfully this weather isn't going to last, it will be raining tonight and we will probably be freezing our arse off by Thursday.

I hate the heat, lol But I really like the snow and the rain, a lot of you that live in rainy areas probably think differently, but in my country, rain evaporates before reaching the ground. I'm enjoying it in England, I hear we'll be getting some rain tomorrow, yes?

Drift-Kingz
It's 25 where I am. But 2 days ago, it was like 31. I wasn't complaining or nothing, considering I'm used to the hot weather... Anyways, I am a cock gobbler, and I like to gobble cocks. Sometimes, that actually get's me through a hot day... gobbling... cock... <
