I've seen a couple of amazing ones- one guy in town was singing iris(goo goo dolls) and he was amazing. Saw another in southend taking cover under a railway bridge in the rain, still playing There's an indescribable feeling of joy I get sometimes by playing the bass, when I just lose myself in the tunes, and the rare occaision where I play to people. Played a gig half drunk once and even though we all kept f*cking up it was just joy. Certain songs that shake you go your core - they remind me of the beauty in this world, ironically sometimes by highlighting the ugliness. Playing in goal at football(soccer) brings me joy. It's nice to know people appreciate me once in a while. And the outdoors. Sometimes, like on a nice sunny day, I just like to sit down on the driveway or the middle of the street (yes, it sounds stupid, but I can hear cars) and just... well, sit there. And when people give money to homeless people. One time I saw some guy arguing with a hobo in Chicago and I'm just like, "wtf is your problem man?" Also, the knowing that some people aren't always cynical cheers me up. Same here, dude. Also the fact when I can actually make people smile or vice-versa, I smile. Yet, that's not something I can do very well. Almost any kind interaction makes me smile and look at life a different way until I start to think about other things again. And as above, also compliments.
