When it asks i choose no, join with my browser and then it asks for nicknam and that stuff so i type in my username from here but after a minute or so trying to connect it says connection timed out and when i click on something that says rowling freenode.net it says you have not registered.Do i need to make an account somewhere to acces it?There is no register button anywhere what should i do? please help me this is very important Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And second, just saying that it's a channel from MulleDK19 means nothing. You need to know that the name of the channel is to access it. Ryan Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 My mistake, it's one of those built in Java clients, so yeah, you can join via your browser. You'd probably be best off asking for help in that specific topic. I could be wrong, but as far as I can tell, the server that the channel is hosted on isn't a GTANet IRC server and in which cases there'd be nothing we could help you with. GTArv Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 IRC generally doesn't accept special characters like symbols and punctuation marks in your nick.
