Magic_Al
In Red Dead Redemption, the amount of evil one could enact was limited to shooting helpless villagers and their donkeys. Or burning them, or dragging them behind a horse, or hogtying them in front of an oncoming train....
vertical limit
Push it. For gods sake it is called a strip club not a bikini club. I would accept at least topless as a pole dancer and fully naked in a private dance. Brutal revenge would be perfect if he killed a family member. And at least when f*cking your girlfriend, we should see at least something like in TBoGT in club management where you nail that pink dressed chick. And some gore, like beheading in previous III era games.
dethbiker
I remember that in GTA III,we could shoot peds with an RPG and their head would explode and their limbs would get scattered away.We could go back to that...
SchizNitz
i'd say push the envolope but only forthe violence and drugs. I'd rather not have anymore sexuality than IV, leave that for real life! (if you know what i mean)

DannyBee
with my f*cked up twisted GTA Mind I fixed it for you, I'm pretty sure the majority of GTA players don't think like that, it's just a bit too far. Not all of us have those morbid/mentally disturbed thoughts...
Psychotic Mind
Okay if there isn't any torture, rape, kidnapping or anything of that nature added to push the envelope I had an idea, but its still pushing it far. In 4 we had hospitals and restaurants where you could do rampages right. What if in 5 or 6 they had a daycare center, or a school? Perhaps a newsmedia building, and there would be an elevator in it for different floors you could go to. We'll call the building "Fux News" PUSH IT

What you're talking about already exists, and it's called Weazel News. As for shooting up a school, GTFO. Gangsters don't do that, gangster films don't do that, GTA won't either. It's not a sociopathic fantasy simulator, despite what some of you idiots seem to think.

You guys are no fun If it doesn't push the envelope in some way it will be boring as sh*t, and eventually people will lose interest. The more sensitive people don't have to play GTA, no one is forcing people to do these things but you still end murdering people for the majority of the game anyway. The current direction GTA is taking is not about pushing the envelope. It's about taking the protagonist onto a journey filled with crime. To be honest, there is no need for pushing the envelope or avoiding the controversy. Because the gaming world is as f*cked up as ever.
lukb13
PUSH THE ENVELOPE! Controversy is nearly nonexistent with websites. 2 websites for one game, record-breaking way to release a game, controversy wouldn't even touch GTA. One site has the normal content, the other controversial. Raters end up being fools (rightly so), Rockstar Games and we become geniuses. So far RGSC is worthless, add content and it's practical. People that complain about RGSC should think of if it could be used against the ratings. People who complain about Ratings should literally look at RGSC as a way to fight ratings. GR7
I don't really think there is much that they can do to rival the attention they got from III era games unless they want the game to b AO. These days were have gotten so used to doing stuff in-game things that should be shocking to us like jacking a car has become almost second nature almost like pressing A to jump in Mario. not to mention the absence of Rockstar's unintentional head or marketing Jack Thompson who can no longer go crazy over anything potentially offensive in-game, the amount of time that guy spent analyzing GTA I wouldn't be surprised if he was secretly Rockstar's biggest fan. But I also think California was the only state wanting the ban, but I'm not sure about other states.
