quicksilver1203
I'm wondering what file or else determines what extras will be on the model of a vehicle. Like different hood scoops, spoilers, fog lights, etc. So, where can I change that? Is that info in the model itself or in a specific file? Apex_Skins
Its kinda hard coded into the vehicles (both the model and the vehicles.ide file) some cars won't take extras. Take the sultan for example, it has one. If you add more it will be randomly spawned, and using a trainer to add or remove car components there will only be one option to add or remove. So if you looking to add a bunch of car components (extras) to you mod/vehicle, pick a car that already has a few.
NaidRaida
The amount or kind of extras are given by the vehicle model file. To change them you need to change the 3D model. Probably other files need to be changed too. This is definately hard to do at all and needs a lot of knowledge about the models and modelling. Apex_Skins
"This is definately hard to do at all and needs a lot of knowledge about the models and modelling. " Wrong, its actually really easy to add extras to a vehicle, just depending on the amount of detail going into an extra will effect how hard it will be to model it. Taking one extra from one stock IV vehicle to another is extremely simple. Naid: Do you even have any vehicle mods, or are you just posting to increase your post number? Cause it kinda seems like you have no idea what you're talking about. Edited June 26, 2011 by Apex_Skins
