Girish
How about you buy the game? Don't try to fool us into believing that you own the game because one can clearly see in the video that you're mounting the ISO files that you have downloaded from somewhere. We do not provide support for pirated copies of the game. Clarification from the OP: sorry i forgot to say , i have the original version but it didn't work , so i thought it was scratched disc or something so i downloaded the pirated version and i have the same version , of course why would you believe in my words i am just another internet pirate , if you don't believe me her is a pic http://s812.photobucket.com/albums/zz41/va...t=Picture12.jpgi don't know if that is enough for you , i can make a video , i didn't mean to upset anyone i just want the solution to my problem
Girish
I believe you have some kind of image mounting software installed. I suggest getting rid of that software because chances are that it is interfering with the installation. Remove it completely, try installing the game using your original discs and get back to us with the results.

radioman
tried to install with original cd's If you have the game on CD's(Compact Discs), then that is part of the problem, as the game comes on 2 DVD's(Digital Video Discs), NOT CD's...So, if you have it on CD's, then that is NOT an Original copy of the game...? Copy both disk contents to some HDD folder and try installing from there. Also, I believe that is illegal, and as such would be a violation of GTAForums "No Warez" rule.? Anywho, OT- BUY a new copy of the game(luckily, it is only $14 brand new now a days), so it is dirt cheap...then if the problem persists, it means your disc drive is going bad and you will need to buy a new one, or get it fixed(now a days, probably cheaper to get a new one)...Trying a new game copy is the cheapest option, as you will know you have a game with NO scratches or marks on it... Lots of people say CD because they don't know the difference. Also it's not illegal to copy the disk contents to the hard drive and installing from there, proves it might be the DVD drive erroring at install, and it was extracted from the original, it's not warez. monster875.
Also, I believe that is illegal, and as such would be a violation of GTAForums "No Warez" rule.? Warez is downloading stuff illegaly from the internet, not just copying dvd files to ur pc and install from there

Unfortunately, you'll be out of luck on the digital option if you have very slow internet. Girish
If you're so worried about the discs being worn out, you can just take out the disc once you start the game and get to the main menu. The disc is only required for the initial authentication to being the game. It has no use when you're actually playing the game.
