Hitler was a cokehead with syphillis and his entourage was composed of sycophants, heroin-addicts and cross-dressing imbeciles. I seriously doubt he would have held on to his gains. We see how he reacted upon conquering so much of Europe, he became a hubris-crazed monster who picked a fight with a man far tougher, meaner and more ruthless - Stalin. If victory had this effect on him, making him blind to all reason or advice, I don't think the Nazi Empire would have survived his death. In much the same way that the Macedonian Empire didn't last long once Alexander died. Besides, peace would pose its own problems. How could the Nazi regime live in peace when their whole philosophical outlook was based on war? I'd sit him down for a Q&A (during which I would tell him that he should shave off that toothbrush so as not to f*ck future generations out of wearing that style). But killing him would stop his mustache from being condemned as well? Changing such a thing would alter the present alot. You probably wouldn't exist anymore. Although, talking about hitler, I would really like to know how he really behaved. And know his actual reasons for each of the things he did. So I exist...because of Hitler? Also you can already find a lot out about that. I read a book on him once...Mildly interesting. You exist because of diferent events that led to you being born. WW2 killed 60 millon people. If that didn't happen, then 60 millon people wouldn't have died. Wich means, your grand parent's (or even parents) may never have met. ·chris: I would also like to do that, it would be interesting to know what the world would look like if the axis won ww2. Could be a dangerous or unhappy makin journey. The earth will die someday for sure but... would be pretty sad to know that we f*ck it up earlier somehow. I'd probably want to see what the world is going to be like after the singularity(when everybody's consciousness is transferred into computers).
