What about having a doctor or a police officer as potagonist for GTA V? or maybe another gangster... Discuss what type of theme you would think/like the protagonist would play as. And you meant 'another gangster' - that somehow doesn't makes sense as we always played as gangsters which roughly traduces (or translates dunno right word) to a killer/rebel with a cause. But the idea about being a doctor somehow intrigues me, yet it makes no sense for doctor to steal cars and kill people in GTA way. And imagine stupid minigames - cut Roman's balls off with scalpel*. Even if you're a szychoprenic doctor who fits into GTA as you would be killing people, it would fit Manhunt way much more. * - Scalpel would be tremendous meelee weapon in next game, wouldn't it? The fact that the protagonist in GTA is often outside of teh law gives us discretion to violate the populations rights which is what makes the game fun. Starskos Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 I like the idea of a cop protaganist and think it would made an interesting story but there is only one way i see it working in GTA. The story would have to follow the cop gets framed, family murdered, stripped of any credibility and on the run for crimes he didn't commit kind of angle. Then we could see his character evolve from a model cop into the dangerous desperate ruthless vigilante type hell bent on vengance and taking down anyone in his way to get to those responsible for his down fall and IMO this would make for a truly unpredictable character capable of anything in a GTA world.
