I believe it was said in the thread that yours would not be included. Sure, it was slightly funny in SOTW 4, but we don't want this every week. We only want serious entries that have some serious effort put into them. I've voted for Tommy (yet again) because it is simply awesome.

If you want to have serious entries every week then maybe you shouldn't be forcing people to use a stock image of a bunch of statues painted to resemble pop culture icons.

 

Just a thought.

I didn't make this week's thread anuj.

And just because it isn't too serious a stock image, it should still be a serious entry. Take a look at most of the other entries from SOTW 4 and SOTW 5. Both of these used a stock image and there were many, MANY awesome entries that clearly had a lot of time spent over them. For Grease to come along and spend no time at all on it and win the competition for the sake of people have a joke is unacceptable, unfair and honestly just ruins the competition for everyone.

While there's clearly not much time spent on it, it's quite badass in it's own way, you can't disagree. While Tommy's is much about effects, it looks good.

One got great idea, one got great effects.

I'll be honest... no. If you want serious internet art competition, do a P(iece)OTW instead of SOTW.
