When I first heard we were going to be playing as an immigrant, I didn't think I'd be that interested. But after playing through my first few missions as Niko and hearing the things he said, I really started feeling a connection with that character. He quickly became my favorite GTA protagonist as a result also. I also liked Roman and Yusuf because they both cracked me up. I can't really think of who I liked a lot in TLAD though, I guess Jim, Clay, and Terry, they were cool guys that always seemed to have your back. Niko Bellic, Roman Bellic, Brucie, Little Jacob, Pegorino, faustin, dimitri, packie, luis lopez, yusis amir, tony prince, billy grey and phil bell. Best character selection of all time imo. But i'd probably go with Niko or Luis Lopez. Niko was badass when the occasion arised. I thought luis was badass too, he was attractive, great voice and accent. Remember he kicked the gun out the hand of a guy pointing it in his face and remember niko broke that russians guys arm who held a knife to him. What did jonny ever do, sure jonny was likable but he was just a heartless biker c**t. And don't say I only choose protags. My fave in SA was sweet and TLAD was billy grey. Niko was awesome but a little bit too cynical, and Luis was just some angry Puerto Rican guy who just happened to work for Tony. Johnny was awesome. And the brothers you kill? they were BRIAN'S FACTIONS. they were bad bikers, they wouldn't listen to Johnny aka the leader, wanted war and they needed to be exterminated. Liking characters is not only to do wih thier physical attributes. Sure Johnny was a better person and would beat billy up easily but I like billy over him becausenof his personality, when I played tlad he was someone i really lived to hate, just like dimitri rascalov or catalina.
