I really only play freemode aa off, but when I get invited to deathmatch its usually aa on. also time of day affects the numbers of players. If anything, it keeps our feelings alive when we feel nostalgic about the game. Go to the real LC you forum whore I'm on XBox and the lobbies are always full to the brim. There are empty lobbies on the 360 sometimes aswell, and not to mention that noone ever plays Turf War or TeamMafiaWork on xbox anymore, while some people still do on ps3. Anyways,gta is becoming dead everyday,for a 3 years old game its lasted long,but not enough to became a world sucess like some other games did or also do nowadays... Someday i tried joining a game,but the host seemed to preffer to make a sandwich in the moment instead of pressing start button... ok i left game and tried joining another game,but guess what? I ended in the same game with same host and same players,tried several times to join another game but failed at the point that the last try i did,i ended alone in a lobby being the host... f*ck! GTA IS DEAD... While a game like black ops or gran turismo 5 have at least 50000 (or even more) people playing at time... gta have only 20 or less... It's not dead, it's just not as it used to be as there are other games that occupy people attention. A lot of people still play GTA 4 and even SA MP, and it'll stay like that until the next one, and even afterwards, True fans and gaming clans keep the game alive, that's what i meant to say with my post FUGA. Could be that i said it wrong. So in conclusion, there will always be enough people online to play with. I guess with this GTA, you just need luck in finding a good server. Sometimes you get randomly disconnected from every room and can't find rooms with player in them for hours, and sometimes, you find room with 6+ Players in it. I've got the same problem in Red Dead Redemption, too. Of course, it's not like 2008 where you couldnt find a room with less than 4 players in it. But it still isn't dead. The only mode I saw being more active on the xbox is Cops n Crooks, which is sad because it's my favourite mode. The regular CnC players on ps3 do the auto-laim style, but that doesn't count lol. This is the main reason why I say that GTA is kinda dead. Everything else is pretty much the same, Free roam is active in both platforms, TDM xbox users play turbo-rifles in Bohan, ps3 users play turbo-rifles in Colony. Co-op modes are still active asfaik. Cos my ps3 is (flashing red light of death ) . when i get a new ps3, gta4 is probs the first game i go on, though i never play deathmatch coz at times i find it too easy, and there's hardly anyone on there anyway. I think PS3 MP is getting more popular, as it seems more and more people are playing it now PSN is back on. For a few days, the lobbies have been full for me. Certainly not dead, I hope! Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 I actually played Hangman's NOOSE recently (it's a good match for switching off your brain and sinking into song lyrics) and there was this ambitious young lad who wanted to beat the Fly the Co-op time. Easily, we pulled it off, but then he wanted to try and get the BDBII and Deal Breaker times. By now, having owned this game since its release date, I figured those times (BDBII in particular) were out of reach. I mean, you search for walkthroughs on Youtube and they all encourage you to glitch, which just isn't right. Nonetheless, we tried BDBII and amazingly we got it just in time on the first sitting. I was ecstatic and began a Deal Breaker match. Second sitting, we beat the time and I finally got that trophy. Oh, what a wonderful surprise. That was years ago and ive made new friends who play games alot so I thought id order GTA the complete edition. DLC looks pretty sweet.
