EmPty CaSInGz
I used to fish, but I stopped a few years ago and I've rekindled my interest. Anyone else fish?

chris
I quite enjoy a spot of course fishing, i went fishing for the first time ever last month and have really gotten into it since. I bought a cheapish Shakespeare rod and another cheap pole and have caught around 100 fish since i first started, i love fighting with the decent sized ones

Mister Pink
Ah...fishing. Haven't gone fishing in a long time. My Dad has a boat so we used to out behind this island called Ireland's Eye and drop just a handline over the side. Sometimes it might take 2 seconds and you got 5 mackerel at once. Other times you could be waiting a while. Then we'd usually have some for dinner. Used to be slightly disturbing watching my Dad break the necks of the feisty ones. I used to fish at the local pool with my brother a few years ago, when I was nine. I'm fourteen now. Completely free, just choose a peg and spend as much or as little time you want. Now it's illegal to fish there, angler's license or not. I wish I'd gone more when I was younger. Edited June 22, 2011 by EmPty CaSInGz
Chinatown Wars
I haven't gone fishing since they drained the lakes around here. I also remember illegally fishing at Manteca water park at their little lake with friends, good times...
blitz
My dad used to take me and my brother fishing, or as a more appropriate term, non-fishing. We never got something, and every time we did it was either an uneatable fish, or an extremely small sardine-type fish, so we let it go. Those were the times

Those were the times In my area, you can't eat any fish you catch, no matter what sort sort of defeats the object of putting fish through the stress of being caught and reeled in and suffocated, just to be put back. AmyJones
Bump? Don't do that, ok? I like to go fishing, i'm always weary of others casting as if i might get hit by their hook. This belongs in sporting discussion...
mrpain
I too have not fish for a long time. Me and my family would usually go catch some crabs at a local beach during 2005. We once even caught a jellyfish! That was an epic catch!
