Is GTA Series loosing it's popularity?

i think anyone who calls themself a true GTA fan is gonna buy the next game regardless, and to that effect, i think the amount of True GTA fans has certainly been diminished by the disappointment of GTA IV, but i also believe that when the information starts coming out about the next title, The buzz will start up again...oh, and as for the lack of people on the forums...It's kinda like...us that are on here daily are like...residents of a New England town...and all the people that only come around when there is news to be heard...they're the leafers...lol

Eh, compared to the first and second GTA's the new GTA's seem to try and punish the player for going on rampages.

 

Rockstar seems to make the game hate the player which is why a lot of people get upset at GTAIV, its so hard to have fun because the game is too busy punishing you.

 

A lot of reasons games today keep going is because of modders. Games that can't be modified die fairly quickly.

the deffinately need to bring back the "freeze wanted level" cheat ...more cheats in general i think would make the game, well, it might not make it really popular, but deffinately would be more fun
