Enacopations
Hi. I'm a girl, playing GTA. I bought the game just so i could play with my friends, but when i'm in multiplayer i just get disconnected, and it says that my computer is running too slow, or something. I tried everything, my drivers were out-of-date but i fixed it, and still nothing. I can play in multiplayer for maybe 5-10 minutes, and when i get into the water or sitting in the car too long, i disconnect. Tried to download a patch, thought it would fix it. But it didn't. I couldn't even start the game, so i re-installed it. I don't know what to do.. so I found this site, and I hope someone here could help. My english is terrible, I'm from Sweden.. but I think you understand. What can I do to fix this?
mkey82
Sadly, GFWL likes to disconnect you when other people you're playing at the time run the game faster, on better machines. What are your system specs?

What are your system specs? Also, to add to this: What is your Internet Speed? What type of internet is is?-ie. is it Dial-up, DSL, OR Cable? Since you are having issues with Multiplayer, this could be a Internet related issue....(more than likely it is).-Your internet might be too slow for online gaming? Enacopations
Processor: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz RAM: 4,00 GB OS: Windows Vista 34bit Screen: Samsung SyncMaster 206BW I.. think that's specs.. And, no I don't think it's because of my internet. I can play other games without problems, like left 4 dead 2. Isn't there some patch for this kind of problem? mkey82
If you can join multiplayer, yes you have the latest patch. Like I said, the problem you're facing is due to some people who can run the game a lot better then you can, so GFWL drops you.
