Lith, I bought it last night at Future Shop.

Ryan, I still am. My primary computer is the iMac, but I'm using this laptop more for work, especially since the computer I have at work is an old a piece of crap.

I seemed to have bought the newer guitar heros and gone back and bought the old ones afterwards. sarcasm.gif

Nevermind, I think this is one of the best ones made. I love the songs and the layout of it. Managed to get it for £5 even though it said more on the price tag at CEX. biggrin.gif

Off eBay again, scouring lowest price listings (love their formatted search criteria)

Found both Dell C and D series (module bay) SATA to PATA Hard Disk adapting CD-ROM shaped cartridges, these REALLY work in allowing old P-ATA hard drive laptops to conform to S-ATA standards currently out there, and as I mentioned, if you need a hard drive, no doubt you noticed a spike in pricing, this effects P-ATA more then S-ATA if you didn't know. Oddly, just the availability is getting scarce

Another item I picked up for P-ATA hardware adapts to the small 2.5 inch pin form factor mating to a CF adapter, that's Compact Flash!

One of the oldest mediums for storage on a flash card, Sandisk basically invented, and still around in increasing capacity. Not as fast as a Solid State drive, but way less costly, and can act as a disc drive for a computer!

Downloaded it for £15 off of the XBL Marketplace, which is good seeing as the cheapest I could find a hard copy was £25 from CeX (and that's used). It feels like I'm getting through the game much quicker than I was when I played it on PS2... Oh well, a great game is a great game.

^ I got it uber cheap off my sister's husband. He's got a vast PC games collection, but I did buy the standard PS2 version, just didn't get around to playing it. PS2 went missing.

I came across Table Tennis again, I think that's the name of it... Rockstar's Euphoria first-attempt. Still couldn't persuade myself to pick it up!

£7.99 top hat from a joke shop, I couldn't resist. biggrin.gif

Now all I need is a cigar and I'll be able to do a Brunel or Lincoln impression.

My most recent purchase was

A Ford Granada Mk2 2.8i Essex Police Car.

A shot of the side of it.

A shot of the back of it.

A shot of the front of it.

It came with a collector card, so that should bump up the price.

This shows information about it, how fast it goes, how much BHP is has. And it's Car No. 285 of 1200.

In about 10 years, this will be worth a lot of money. Not bad for €21.99.

Everyone bashed them because of the high cost, but I'd say $11 is a fair price.

I actually have no idea what that ^ is. Is it some kind of fancy knife/sword/stabby weapon, mounted on what I can only make a stupid guess is a thing that looks like a motherboard?

Looks to me like a network card with a fancy heatsink.

Then $11 is too much.

I just ordered up a new motorcycle cover about 10 minutes ago. My wife has been happily spending money of late, so I'm trying not to in order to balance things out. We just finished re-doing her office with all new everything. *sigh* thousands of dollars worth of all new everything. Although, I must say it is beautiful - I'd take a pic but she's in there now and not a big fan of having her pic taken.

I did almost buy an indoor r/c plane at Radio Shack this morning. It listed a whooping (up to) 12 seconds of flight time, so I passed up on it.

Edit:

I'm just gonna edit this up in order to share something. As part of my wife's office re-do she just showed me some of the wall crap she ordered, and I really liked this one from 'Harold and Maude'*

It's not some average Joe NIC, it's a Killer NIC. Runs it's own Linux based OS onboard and bypasses the Windows networking stack. Not only making your networking faster, but also taking load off of the OS/CPU. If I so desire, I can run Torrent or AV programs on the NIC instead of the CPU.

Ebay, my friend. One was on last month for $25 with free shipping, no reserve. It ended with no bids and didn't sell, I missed it because I over slept.

That's really good! Wouldn't be much use to me now though since I don't have a desktop computer anymore. suicidal.gif

I bought Perfect Dark off the XBLA Marketplace on Friday. I've actually never played it before, but I think it's as awesome as they say it is icon14.gif It's a shame the XBLA release of Goldeneye will never see the light of day, but at least we have this.

And I felt like ordering some Pizza Hut, too.

That's pretty cool. I have a bitch ass cool NAS that has a scaled down Linux if I want to run tor and that kind of stuff away from my workstations. I actually rely on it to deliver AV to the house and workstations - I don't really touch Tors.
