I went to see Walking With Dinosaurs The Arena Spectacular yesterday (I've been interested in prehistoric animals, evolution and paleontology since I was a kid,so if there's something dinosaur related in town,I'm checking it out),and I bought this raptor plushie from the gift shop as a souvenir:

Got my shipment

Picked up a storage thingy from a place that is closing down in a month"everything must go" and this was only $5

 

It now holds most of my gaming controllers(yoke, rudder pedals, train sim controller, joystick and throttle, xbox 1 controller.)

It fits perfectly under a table I thought I was going to need to get rid of.

It was on sale, it has most if not all the dlc, I had spare money in the bank, and I'm at the point where I like to not have to lean over the side of my chair to fish out a physical version of a game I want to play because it has to be installed first anyway before you can play it.

I have a question for the few of you who buy vinal albums.  

What kind of turntables do you'll use?  What kind of old school stereo setup are you using?  Sure I could do my own research but...

 

I'm old.  I still have the last turntable I picked up in the 80's.  A Technics with a diamond head stylist.

 

My fear is new fangled turntables just bluetooth through sh*tty cellphone speakers or something. 

 

Please tell me that playing vinal is the same as it's always been.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh and I got 8.5 lbs of koi food.  Spring and all.

Oh, believe me there's plenty of snake oil in the vinyl business and ways to burn money. The pic I posted wasn't a vinyl though. It's a CD. I actually hate vinyl because it is a sh*tty format and objectively inferior but that doesn't suggest that some people won't prefer that experience over digital.
