Very nice, what'd that set you back?

Oh and my last (joint) purchase was 2 bottles of Bacardi at absurd prices compared to what's typical.

Thanks. It is a housewarming gift for my best mate. Usually $300, got it for $120 delivered. Getting him a $160 bottle of Tasmanian whisky to go with it.

Damn, he's got one helluva friend! I've never had Tasmanian whisky. Is it comparable to any other type?

A Tasmanian whisky just got voted best in the world. That was Sullivans Cove.

In my opinion Tasmanian whisky is the best in the world, anything from Lark, Overeem or Sullivans Cove is amazing.

I don't know a huge amount about whisky but the climate in Tasmania means the whisky ages faster than in Scotland or other colder parts of the world, meaning it takes on flavour much faster. This means an 8 year old Tasmanian whisky can have the flavour profile of an 18 year old Scotch whisky.

Due to the heat in summer in Tasmania and the bitter cold in winter, the barrels expand and shrink more, allowing the whisky to breathe more and take on the flavours of the barrel - ie port, bourbon etc.

You won't find a cheap Tasmanian whisky though.

I don't.

They were being sold for only 14 euros and it was a good price for a copy of the headphones.

Hmm, I've got a decent pair of HK's that were 90% off on clearance.

Does the fact that they were on clearance make them somehow inferior?

I mean, I understand what you were getting at, but I'm not sure it came out the way you meant it.

I would have never bought these headphones at retail price, not because they are awful (they're pretty great actually) but because they were far too pricey.

When they were selling off old stock they dropped the last 2 pairs to around the price of those Dr. Drek things, so I feel I made out like a bandit.

I'm not a fan of the Beafs, but to say the price dictates the quality of the product doesn't really make sense in some cases.

I searched for this everywhere in my country and I can't find any. I think I gotta import a bottle.

Where can I buy it online? Sorry for the off topic.

sorry about the massive quote waterfall but I'm on my phone.

Larkdistillery.com.au

or search sullivans cove or overeem whisky.

I know they've all just started exporting on a larger scale but you may still have to order it. It's worth every cent though.

Try the Cask Strength Overeem Port Cask. 63% abv. Delicious.

Last things I bought were the the 1,250,000, 500,000, and the 100,000 card. That's a total of $1,850,000 which cost me £20. The other day I bought a 100,000 card which cost £3.19. Altogether right now I have $2,350,000 in GTAO. I had $400,000 before I started buying shark cards.

I don't care what people say about micro transactions but I had money to spend so I bought the cards. I still do missions when I play but at least now I don't have to grind them to buy stuff. The money I make from missions I use for stuff like ammo, bullet vests, snacks, insurance payments, car pound, clothes, tattoos, taxis, car/weapon upgrades. The money I get from shark cards is for really expensive things like cars, planes, boats, houses, garages etc.

Damn, I'd want that thing to be a bit longer for how tall it is personally...Looks fun though, for sure. I'm guessing by the sticker and what I can see of it that it's electric, 1000 watts?

I'm looking into building my own using part of a minibike chassis for the rear with a 50cc engine and single rear wheel and a custom deck for the front with an extra wide truck.

Mine's going to be low though, because it's going to be for the street, should be a frightening good time.

I'd love to be able to hit the speeds I reach on my downhill board, but on flat ground...Mental.

nice sounds like a good build =)

i chose this style because i wanted it to also serve a functional purpose.. to and from work there are a lot of nature strips, dirt patches, gutters, etc to cross and this thing owns them all. it does get a bit wobbly when i crank it up on the straights though

That's likely due to the length, you may be able to swap the parts onto a longer deck in the future if you or a friend are somewhat handy, or if you feel like it. ;)

Of course, that would cut down the turning radius and whatnot, so it's kind of a trade-off.

Either that, or maybe just tightening up the trucks will help.

I basically want to use mine as one would a scooter, it would basically be classed as one, and with the light weight, plenty fast enough to ride on the street!

Those tires on yours are monstrous, I bet it handles the rough stuff easily, have fun and be safe!

I've bought a lot of random stuff lately to give my room more character.

Got these black nickel switches with black inserts, to match my black accessory... theme. They are shiny so it made it tricky to get a classy photo:

And I geeked out again and bought this Charmander. For no reason at all, other than his AWESOME.

To be fair, I don't see a use in headphones except for being out in public, and I wouldn't wear expensive headphones because I'd just be a sitting duck for getting having them jacked (no pun intended).

Though, I can't really speak because I don't like being distracted by music when I'm out and about anyway.
