boyben
Okay, I KNOW for a fact that making a topic for this is completely stupid but I need help. So. I found the Cyberpower Black Pearl and it's actually really cheap considering on what it's packing. So what I need help with is if this computer is actually worth buying. Thank you for responding or even clicking my stupid topic. EDIT: Can actually someone make me a build that will be between 900 - 1200 ? No extra neon light sh*t. I'm just worried about the CPU and GPU. I don't need the extra sh*t Edited June 20, 2011 by LulzAllDay
yoječ
It's not really worth the money. yoječ
Exactly. Higher 80plus certificate doesn't automatically warrant higher build quality. Nonetheless, this Kingwin is simply amazing (but the XFX is great too, especially given its attractive price).

I would trust yoyo2 over prometheusx. No offence to you prometheusx it's just yoyo2 has been here longer and helped more people. While Yojo may have been on the forums for a longer amount of time, it is clear that PrometheusX is also perfectly capable of suggesting a good PC build. I think it'd be very unfair to disregard his suggestion because he joined the forums later. Out of the two I would probably go with PrometheusX's suggestion as I have heard some bad about XFX supplies in the past (however this is not to say they are a bad brand!!). I also am not keen on the choice of cooling Yojo chose with the Artic Silver. For $5 more you could get the Hyper 212+ if you insist on a decent cooler, else if you don't plan on overclocking far I'd stick with stock cooling and a processor that is not 'K' to save the money. Here you can see the Hyper 212+ beats the freezer 13 at a slightly lower noise level.

Don't be silly, it shouldn't really matter how long I've been here or how many people I've helped. That doesn't automatically mean my advices are better. Mi rig has better motherboard, while PrometheusX decided to put a better power supply instead. I'd prefer a better mobo though, especially since the XFX PSU is quite good too. Also Asus' GTX580 has a better cooling solution than EVGA's, but it mostly matters if you plan to overclock. The rest is pretty much similar. It's up to you LulzAllDay to choose. @OverTheBelow: I haven't heard anything bad about this particular XFX, nor about first Corsair TX650 (which is pretty much same power supply with the exception of non-modular cables). Wolf68k
Hm... is that Gigabyte mobo really that good? Because from the looks of it, it seems cheaply made. Especially its VRMs. The one reason I don't like it; 3 audio ports. Which means if you do use a 5.1 set of speakers then you're screwed. If you want to use 7.1 speakers then you're even more screwed because the port for the 2 of the 7.1 speakers requires the case front audio ports. Go for Yoyo's build, Promotheus and yoyo have a very similar build but Yoyo's mobo is 7.1 surround sound compatible, and has better cooling thanks to the large fan onboard. Wolf68k
Both mobos are 7.1 (8 channel) audio compatible. The difference being like I said before. yoyo's all of the speakers connect in the back Promotheus's use the 3 in the back for 5.1 audio and then uses the front audio port for the other 2 speakers needed for 7.
Stinky12
Seriously, anyone using a 5.1 or higher speaker setup should invest in a sound card.

Ryan
You could, but unless you're running multiple monitors at retardedly insane resolutions, it probably wouldn't be worth the extra money. Ryan
Yeah, you definitely don't need a GTX 590. A GTX 580 would be fine. You may want to consider upgrading from that i5 2500k to an i7 2600K if you can afford it. That will give you full future-proofness.
