Fatman_UK
1). Cj automatically drops to the floor, dead. Hey all. I have exactly this problem with the "Home Invasion" mission. I must have version 3 as defined above, since I bought it cheap on Steam a couple of weeks ago. Can someone check my save file is ok? http://gtasnp.com/26528 Oh, SNP seems to be saying version 2. Yeah, figures Steam doesn't have the latest version. Thanks.
lil weasel
I'll look into it. Complete Spend some time EXPLORING you will find Lots of FREE stuff on roofs, in alleys, behind walls/hedges, under bridges, inside buildings... You don't have to go mission to mission. Game save played out as it should. No problems what so ever. At any time in the game CJ is able to attain Super Sprint (Infinate Sprint) by completeing a series of Burglaries (Value of stolen goods=10,000$) Reference these Topics, as you must use specific trucks: BURGLARY VAN There is one in each of the Major Cities of San Andreas state. Fatman_UK
Game save played out as it should. No problems what so ever. Thanks for verifying that. If the save game's ok... well, I guess it's either a corrupted mission script or a Steam problem. I'll try deleting the settings file again and then a reinstall before I seriously blame Steam. Gah! A reinstall means a couple of hours of GTASA cold turkey... I guess I could try and complete 100% on GTAVC while it's downloading. Never can pin down those last few hidden packages. Fatman_UK
@lil weasel and GTASA'ers having this issue: The fix is to delete the gta_sa.set file and let the game recreate it. I did that and then the mission played without problems. Weird huh? I can't even think why that would affect the mission this way. :S Now to reconfigure my controls again.
