ClaudeSpeedIV
I installed GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City recently on my XBOX 360 HDD and it seems the graphics have improved tremendously, like all the reflections look 100% better, even the textures on Niko's face and body look more real, its weird that when its not installed it doesn't look that real. but when you install it, oh man i couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing! anyone else feel the same when they installed the game to their XBOX 360 HDD? or maybe its just me. but the game itself is way faster than it usually was uninstalled, even the roads and buildings don't even have to load, and the draw distance is amazing! it looks just like the PC version of the game. whoever agrees with me then you understand what i have seen lol. EDIT: so nobody is experiencing this but me? Edited June 18, 2011 by ClaudeSpeedIV
ClaudeSpeedIV
one more other thing i forgot to mention, I have GTA IV original Platinum Edition installed along with the seperate Episodes From Liberty City disc, can i use the GTA IV disc to play EFLC from the HDD or do i have to use the other disc to play? its just DLC anyway, i don't see why it wouldn't work this way since its already installed. Magic_Al
EFLC does not work the same way as DLC, so you'll need to change discs. EFLC has partly different radio content and uses the updated TBOGT map while playing TLAD. DLC has only a partially updated map for TLAD, and the radio content of each episode is combined with the radio content of original GTA IV. There's no change in GTA IV graphics on the 360 since the original release AFAIK. However, the graphics can look dramatically different if you've changed the display settings in the 360 dashboard, or changed from component cables to HDMI.
