I also said he was stone cold hard. The image of a character is a major part of them, you can't avoid it. When you think of Claude you think of the black jacket and the green trousers (pants if you're American), CJ it's the white tank top and baggy jeans. You say he's stone cold hard but you don't like him anyway because you think he's wearing the wrong outfit. We could argue this all day, but I don't see the point. If you don't like his shirt, fine, but I reject that as a legitimate reason to dislike the character and pretty much everything else you've said for that matter. I don't know why but I didn't feel a good connection with him. The outfit/appearance is just a small thing on the face of it, but it's what defines Tommy in a lot of ways. My posts about the hawaiian shirt were said tongue in cheek, of course I don't dislike him only because of the shirt. And a lot of the things I said weren't serious, "hawaiian shirts are for big fat party animals" etc. It's called a sense of humour dude, try it out sometime. Anyway, I think Because Tommy was the first protagonist of GTA who actually talked, and he had alot of humorus things to say. Like his voice you hear after a few cutscenes, he actually says in one that he liked his Hawaii shirt!! Not to mention he was the only one with Diaz who insults everyone... BVJ Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 VC was the first GTA I played, so Tommy the first character. Now every time a new GTA character comes along I always compare them to Vercetti. And so far none have quite come up to his high standard of do-whatever-i-like mayhem. I liked the Hawaiian shirt. Only someone like Vercetti could wear a shirt like that and remain bad-ass - I thought that was the point of it being his default outfit Personally I liked his black/white 80s tracksuit. So cheesy but he still managed to look like some rock-hard psycho in it. The only other character I saw pull that off was Eric in Season 2 of True Blood.
