I love all these HD trilogy packs coming out. It's great for people like me who can't be bothered with having to set up the PS2 and disconnect the PS3 for a couple hours of nostalgia, then having to put away the PS2 and reconnect the PS3. Inconvenience be damned.

 

The proposition of a HD trilogy pack for all the non GTA games R* has made makes my pants squishy. The only other trilogy PS2 re-release that makes me as excited is a Hitman pack!

I chose the first one. Manhunt seems very underrated. I really want a Manhunt 3.

Yeah? That's the one I would want. Mainly because The Warriors is the only one of these I've played and still have. Howabout a GTA trilogy pack of III/Vice City/San Andreas? That'd be cool too.

You never mentioned anything about it been in HD, but yes, there is already a trilogy pack out of the 3 GTA's.

I saw Manhunt on there for 1p, and Bully, Red Dead shouldn't be more then £15.

If rockstar were to do that triple pack no doubt they would charge full retail price at around £40-45, you may aswell just buy them individually and save your self some money.

You won't see HD Remasters of these games as Rockstar Vienna closed down in 2006, they were Rockstars main porting studio and they even improved the games (GTA3 and VC on Xbox) but sadly, out of all the studios to go under, it was them. sad.gif

He didn't have to mention it, it's the entire point of the OP. I'd say an HD trilogy like that would be fantastic. Either that, or manhunt/red dea revolver/warriors trilogy. Bully was a pretty lame game.

You know what is funny? The PS2 trilogy pack that includes GTA III, GTA VC, and GTA SA costs the same as GTA SA for PS2 around where I live ($20). The PS2 stories pack (GTA LCS and GTA VCS) also costs $20.

I don't think it will be very popular among casual gamers and other non-GTA heads. Out of those, I would probably get Manhunt/The Warriors/Bully.

I'd be itching to buy something like this. Never did play Red Dead Revolver, Manhunt or The Warriors, but at the same time I loved Bully and would like to play that on PS3.

 

Same goes for a III/VC/SA trilogy pack, I'd snap that up in an instant if it were to be released. Still got my PS2 but, as you point out, unplugging the PS3 to set up the PS2 for a couple hours of gaming, just to then switch back, is a bit of a hassle. And my dad sold all my PS2 games (minus the ones he plays, old sports ones and Conflict Storm ones...) when I moved out, so no chance of getting to play old GTAs any time soon.

 

Out of interest, you mention a few HD trilogy packs are coming out, which ones?

The III era being remastered Into HD would be something else but going by Rockstar games that are on Xbox 360 and PS3; I would love to see GTA IV, Read Dead Redemption and LA Noire released In a trilogy. Yes I know Team Bondi develop LA Noire but Rockstar publish It.

 

That would be my dream trilogy releases biggrin.gif

Nah, not too arsed about those three Tommy, although I've got them all separately. I wouldn't mind them releasing the III era again as they were, without fixing them up for HD graphics (if that makes sense?).

Your saying without HD Graphics, right? Then I'm sure there Is already a trilogy pack out for the III era but then again that was released on Playstation 2 and Xbox.

 

Well that was just a suggestion really. Looking back on It I would have Bully In there instead of LA Noire so the trilogy are actually published by Rockstar Games.

But knowing my luck, I would probably but a PS2... then they would bring out a HD collection.
