OverTheBelow Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 The guy wants to know which card is better, the AMD or nVidia I just saw benchmarks of GTA IV for (560Ti & 6950), they're almost equal, the 6950 is slightly faster than the 560Ti (1-2 FPS), but in Bad Company 2, the 560Ti outran the 6970! unc13bud Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 A 'Hardcore Gamer' does not need the best graphics card around. thanks, this is my viewpoint/experience exactly. my friends would laugh at our lan parties cause i was always jumping around in my chair during quake 3 a few years back, and that was on a k6-2 350 with a riva 128 on a 640x480 vga crt (yes, i know about the new version, but i play gta IV and portal 2 now). If you want Very High shadows, go for the 3rd/4th/5th patch, because Rockstar f*cked up the shadow system with patch 6 and 7. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was an engineering student when people here were watching mtv and not 21+ and living with their parents..
