YankeesPwnMets
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Origin-St...tion,12945.html I can't f*cking believe it. I was just gonna buy this and they decide to pull it off. I really hope this won't affect future games like Battlefield 3, because if it does, then I'm giving my cash to the Call of Duty series. EA says it's Steam's fault, but with EA releasing Origin Exclusive games soon, lets just see how much money EA actually loses to other competitors because they are trying to be a monopoly in the digitial distribution market
[SM]CJZera
Way I've heard it they're sneaking away all their titles so they sell them in their origin thingy instead of Steam... I don't think this'll go well with customers...
Sam998
I suppose we should put EA right up next to Activision on are "Game Companies we Hate but Still buy Games From" shelf? Edited June 16, 2011 by Sam998

Wow really, what for? Because EA are been 'greedy' by trying to expand their markets (not good in practice thought) and Valve have disallowed Crysis 2 on Steam? If it's because of greed, why the f*ck are you giving Activision your money instead? Fair enough if you prefer CoD to BF but your reasoning is quite stupid. YankeesPwnMets
I would rather stay on Steam. I don't want 30 different Steam like apps to launch my games for me. I only want one, and I prefer Steam because they have a lot of games, and I have enjoyed both CoD and BF in the past. BF3s trailer is just more appealing to me now. vertical limit
Is it cheaper to buy Crysis 2 from Steam?
Rockworm
*sigh its business people freaking out over it isn't gonna do anything but give you an ulcer. We all have an option here vote with your wallet if you don't like Origin don't use it. Hopefully EA we'll learn their lesson and start using steam again. Sunrise Driver
OMG stop this bullsh*t. You're acting like they pulled off BFBC2 with Mass Effect and won't be selling BF3 on Steam. They will. They aren't dumb not to put PC-oriented game on service which covers 70% of PC digital sales. As for Crysis 2 - it's not PC-based game like Crysis 1 was and it has console sales to "back up" PC sales. P.S. When EA pulled off Godfather games, when EA decide not to sell half of their game list on Steam, people didn't give a damn. But when Crytek or Valve or EA (I dunno who) pulled off Crysis 2 due to some licensing reasons then EA suddenly became a sh*t company of the decade. There're plenty of EA games that also available everywhere but Steam. Crysis 2 just became one of these games. Where were you before? P.S.S. And the winner for the dumbest and most retarded post on Steam forums: Ignore BF3, buy MW3 (only if its steamworks) or anything else. YankeesPwnMets
Watch them make you. EA, if Origin fails miserably, then companies Crytek and possibly DICE are gonna rape you and leave you.
Raptomex
This is a shame. What happens to the users who bought it through Steam already? I'm not one of them but I did buy Crysis and Warhead through Steam. I was going to get Crysis 2 when the price goes down.

A historically great series that has gone to sh*t since it came to 360 and PS3... their forums are flooded by "Wish" topics yet 6 years later they finally start to listen to the fans... For example if GTA V was GTA IV but with new stuff to lure in people new to the series and video games in general which tends to be useless after the first week. thats what i meant by "you dont even need to go back that far". YankeesPwnMets
Alice: Madness Returns seems to have been released on Steam. I think EA now just wants to keep the pre orders to themselves and then let everybody else sell the game
