First video Card cuz im upgrading it next month.

Heres the best option i found on tiger direct for pci sad.gif. Moms old PC.

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...5014&CatId=1603

now pc specs currently.

Processor: Intel® Celeron® CPU 2.80GHz

Video Card: Radeon 9250

RAM: 2.0 GB

DIRECTX Version: 10.0

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2

DVD DRIVES:Sony DVD-RW DRU-810A, SONY CDRW/DVD CRX330E

HARD DRIVES: Drive C: 57.2 gb. Drive D: 57.2 gb (WILL BE CHANGING TO TWO 200's).

will it run after upgrading?

No. The graphics card at the link you provided doesn't even hit the minimum requirements either. And the processor would hold back any more powerful graphics card you put in.

It'd be better to buy a new PC rather than upgrade that old thing.

1. Windows XP SP2 is not supported by Microsoft. Are you trying to get yourself infected with a virus?

2. The graphics card you want to buy isn't going run IV well at all

3. 2GB of RAM is REALLY borderline for any game today.

4. A Celeron isn't good enough for IV. Pentium is the lowest I would go.

Where do you live? We could find a good set up for IV if you give us where you live.

No. While it is a ton better than the card previously posted, it is still extremely bad in terms of todays standards.

http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=22120&page=6

it can't even run MW2 at 30fps at a fairly low resolution, how do you think it's going to cope with GTA4? - it isn't.

Like I suggested, get a new motherboard (or better, a new computer suicidal.gif ) so you can get a PCI-E graphics card and you will save some cash in the long run. Upgrading that thing is pointless money spending tbh.
