leaflinks
Hey there Could somebody please explain to me what I must do to add a texture to a piece of mesh in zmodeler. What are the steps? You use you're modified txd, then select the texture, then from there what happens next? Thank you
leaflinks
I can assign a specific texture to my piece of mesh at the front, yet I don't know how to access a file from the TXD? Though it seems to pass onto the bumper. Must you type a name into the Material editor first, and then select a bitemap image? Once you type a name the menu closes after you press the Enter key. I added my image into the txd, I don't know why it doesn't show up, I've tried CTRL-A menu and tried to select the file but no result. I'm notsure why this is so difficult, I'm just trying to add one texture. Can anyone here help me out with this dissapointment. My texture problem Thank you again

My texture problem Thank you again Hmm... have you tried copying an existing material and renaming it to, for example, flag? and then assigning your new texture to it. Btw, have in mind that when you import the new texture to your txd you have to remember to flip it in Y axis (that's vertically) because otherwise it's going to look upside down ingame. To make Zmodeler load the textures automatically for each part of the car, extract them all in TGA format in the same folder as the dff and re-import the model. Hope that helps PS: Zmodeler has a bug that makes the textures appear upside down in an imported car, however this will not affect how the textures are ingame
leaflinks
Hey there Thank you for the reply. I tried having the same name as the texture, well the texture name change. It is still the same result. As for the TXD, I've got to edit the image to change it to vertical, where will the front part of the flag go, in this case the Texas flag, the blue and the star go up or down? And then re-add it to the txd. Unless somebody is prepared to add this flag image to the model and save it along with the txd etc as a dff for VC, that'll be great otherwise, I'd be going nowhere with this as I have done for a while.
