Tried using the spas 12 today and it was one of the most frustrating experiences ever. At first i went in head first, i thought it might work, several hit markers with no kills and 3 deaths later i decided that wasn't the best idea. "Ill Flank" I thought, so i spent my time carefully running round the outskirts of the map trying to flank, get up behind the enemy, shoot and get a hit marker, and as the spas is pump action by the time you've reloaded his turned around and shot you in the face with an assault rifle. You literally need to be sitting on the enemys lap to get a one shot kill. I got 5 hit markers on the same guy early i sh*t you not. Never again. And aswell i was thinking about the whole "Reset stats" option you can get at tenth prestige, you would have to be crazy to do it after all that time. What i think would be a better idea would be allowing you to re-pick a prestige. For example you want to get to tenth, you get there and earn your prestige token, but after a while you get bored and you preferred the 4th prestige icon, so you spend your token on repicking any prestige you want and starting from level one, but keeping all your stats. Shotguns are absolutely pointless on the game now, since they made them into a primary class, and made the levels more open, meaning they just aren't good enough anymore in terms of range and damage. That and the fact that they took all damage whatsoever off the Shotguns, rendering pump-action ones useless. I keep getting the same situation as you, where I hit the enemy dead in the face with the shotgun, yet all I receive is a hit-marker, and by the time I go to reload, he's already killed me. My most used weapons at the moment are the CM901, with Red Dot Sight, and Akimbo FMG9's. I never give a f*ck about my accuracy ratio, especially on games riddled with lag, so tend to get my Akimbo's out when in tight areas and just spray everywhere. As mentioned earlier, I find teams actually work together on this game, so they're great for multiple targets. Starting to get decent at this game now, with my most recent matches seeing me hit positive at the end. Absolutely owned a game of GW Domination last night, on Bakaara. I just occupied the top part of the map, covering flags B & C, and made it impossible for any enemy to get even a sniff of the flag. The only thing that always lets me down in FPS games is aiming, especially since I get distracted by the cross-hairs and whatnot, and always lose sight of the enemy. I'm on wave 24 and they just disappeared in the middle of the sh*tstorm. I had 3 guys wielding shields they couldn't have all died at the same time But yeah it gets retardedly hard around level 20 and over (on solo anyway). Mr.Funny12 Posted November 30, 2011 Share Posted November 30, 2011 My buddy and I gave survival ode for the first timr the other day. We did it on resistance. We accually made it to level 25 or 26. Basically every peace time I would go max out on claymore and he would go get air support. So I woul lay claymores everywhere he would shoot down every helicopter that came in the area and we used enemy ammos. It worked great and it was fun. I always have a sentry gun, delta/riot squad and claymore mines to get me through each round. I always get f*cked over by one of the Juggernauts though. Why is it so tricky to upload a film to the Vault? I uploaded one yesterday, and now it appears in my 'online vault' within the game, but not on any vault online. Might aswell ask in here, but time for a little debate: MW2 or MW3? Personally, I prefer MW2 in terms of everything. And while i enjoy MW3 i have to say that IW really missed the mark. Their lack of support is appaling. The game has been out for a month and i literally only have 10-12 hrs total playtime because the match-making is plain ass. I never bitched about it before, but now it's just ridiculous. I really don't know what's more annoying. Getting shot around corners or the game cock-teasing you with matchmaking "oh oh here's a game, i found one, WAIT FOR IT!!....uhhh sorry can't connect trolololo" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jake Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 I have no problems with lobbies and match making. I have no problems with lag. Hell, I barely have any problems. Nothing but the usual failed host every once in a great while. I think I have about 20 hours playing time since release. It would be more if I hadn't been playing so much Skyrim. But when me and my buddy hit it up, we have fun. My K/D is still at 1.6. And I love Kill Confirmed. It's my new favorite. And yeah, shotguns. I tried them out for a while. The fact that the damage rating got significantly reduced, and then make most of them pump-action, was a terrible idea. So many situations I've had hit markers on an enemy upon blasting them in the face, yet by the time I've gone to reload, I'm dead. I had one guy who I was chasing down the map, and actually managed to get 3 hit markers on him from one of the shotguns, yet all he did was turn around and kill me with what seemed like 2 bullets. Best mode for me is still Ground War. I actually feel like the game is empty if I'm on any other mode now. Really close to selling this game now anyway. I was getting 30-38 kills per Kill Confirmed game, but my score was even higher than my kill count because I love collecting friendly tags after I deny f*ckers. And I played maybe 6 or 7 rounds. And less than 15 deaths per game. Although one time I had a 22 and 4 ratio which isn't bad. That was my lowest kill count of the night. I was hitting 40+ kills tonight on Kill Confirmed with 15 or less deaths. And considering how quickly those games go by, I kill like a madman. Rack up point streaks like nobodies business. Anyway, my final verdict is that this is a good game that had the potential of being perhaps something better. Maps and spawns are still holding it back majorly, but cutting through enemies with the silenced M4 just makes me come back for more so i wont complain. Also the first map pack will include Favela and Terminal from MW2. I've never bought a DLC before, but if they bring back the best of the best in the first few map packs i will consider getting them.
