Well, in the beta version of San Andreas, T-Bone and Ryder's roles were reversed. Ryder was the one shooting at you, and once you shot him down, Cesar would say "What do you wanna do with him Holmes?" and CJ would say "You sold us out, Ryder! You f*cked us all!", then Ryder would say his "I'm a motherf*cking genius" line and get shot, falling over the railing. Then T-Bone would jump in the water and say "Yeah, I'll come back for you, Johnson!".

 

So in the beta, Ryder was done a little more justice. I don't know why they switched him with T-Bone in the final version.

My guess is that they wanted to end the mission with killing Ryder.

I think it would've been better with a showdown CJ & Sweet Vs. Big Smoke & Ryder, but thats just what I think.

Let me clear something up for you....It wasn't Ryder who betrayed GSF/CJ/SWEET it was Big-Smoke, Ryder just follows with along with Big-Smoke.

I think he should die right after you unlock Las Venturas and you have to beat Boat school to unlock the mission in which you chase Ryder on a boat to kill him.

I wouldn't mind him dying in the climax of the game, but I really loved killing him by doing the drive-bys with my TEC-9

Ryder should have been given a bigger role in my opinion. He was still a major character in the beginning, and later he was turned into Big Smoke's errand boy. Even when CJ killed him he displayed a bit of remorse later on, while when having killed Big Smoke he almost cries afterwards lol.

This brings up a really good point, did Sweet get to take revenge on who he wanted to, or was he pretty much left out? Considering that CJ iced Ryder and Big Smoke, and Tenpenny dies in a car crash I would think that Sweet has some leftover rage that he never gets to release.

I was just making a joke.

 

As a matter of fact I'm playing through the game again right now. I played it when I was younger but now things make a whole lot more sense, there's a lot of depth to things.

Hmm i don't think so, the boat practially blew right infront of CJ

 

But if he really did jump out of the boat then maybe a San Andreas Pt. 2?

I don't think any of the SA people are in the V game.

nah they won't be, even if alive. Any returned characters will be from IV, I even doubt that.

I look at it this way i chase him to the boat, shoot him down, killing him, then i get off the boat and dive under water to get my LUNG CAPACITY up, to do the AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT MISSION. To some people that may be stupid, but in my opinion it's a great idea.
