Something like that.

£163,00 Intel CPU Core i5 2500K Unlocked Sandy Bridge Quad Core Processor

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/intel-core-...l-plusfree-game

£233,48 MSI GeForce GTX 570 1280MB NVIDIA Graphics Card

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280mb-msi-...es-dl-dvi-mhdmi

£94,40 MSI P67A-C45 B3 Intel P67, Socket 1155 Motherboard

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-p67a-c4...-usb30-firewire

£30,30 Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB Hard Drive - HDD

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500gb-samsu...b-cache-8ms-oem

£34,92 Corsair Memory XMS3 4GB DDR3 1333 Mhz CAS 9 Dual Channel Desktop

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/4gb-corsair...s-9-9-9-24-150v

£39,91 XFX PRO550W P1-550S-XXB9 Power Supply (PSU) Core Edition

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-xfx-p1...il-power-supply

£14,98 LG DVD Writer, GH22NS50, SATA, Black, OEM

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/lg-gh22ns50...-sata-black-oem

£28,78 Coolermaster Elite 370 Black Mid Tower Case

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/coolermaste...er-case-w-o-psu

= £639,77

Fast four core CPU with great overclock capabilities, great GPU, proper motherboard, fast 500GB HDD, 4GBs of RAM, high quality power supply, DVD recorder and computer case with good airflow.

If you cannot pay those extra £40, then go for GTX470. It might be slightly slower than cheaper GTX560Ti on stock settings, but its overclock capabilities are better. Also extra VRAM will help in GTA4.

This would be a great PC. If you could I would go to 8GB RAM for future proofing but 4GB would get you by for now. Also if it's out of reach go with a 560TI or 6950 instead of the 570GTX. That would save you around $50-100 depending on the model.

Well, on the other hand he might just add more RAM in the future. wink.gif IMHO it's a better choice to get a faster GPU now, because adding more RAM is very easy.

Wasn't disagreeing with that, was just saying based on "your" build I would bump it to 8 GB and leave the 570.

Disregarding the amount of RAM if the 570 was over budget then look at the 560 / 6950.

Thanks smile.gif I'm also considering this aswell

- CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 840 "95W Edition" 3.20GHz

- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard

- RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel

- Cooler: AMD Stock Cooler £165

MSI GeForce GTX 470 Twin Frozr II 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card @ £199

Corsair HX 750W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply £135

which is just below £600

Is that also good?

I wanna be able to play GTA IV almost max and proberly even with ENB. and also millions of mods tounge.gif

I can pick between both of those, whichever's best.

Btw where can I get cheap normal monitors and keyboards and sh*t?

Get the I5 2500k. I had a quad core Phenom II running at 3.72 and the game still would not play well. Switched to the 2500K and I'm completely satisfied with the way it runs now.

2500k is way better than the 840 and it's definitely worth extra money.

Yojo's suggestion would definitely be the best option for the money - however the PC must be built as the components are shipped individually. This does save alot of money but the thought can be intimidating to those who have never built a computer before. I'd suggest hiring someone locally to build it for you.

friendly luggage

What about those websites that a have a huge list of hardware and you tick what you want inside. The company builds it for you and then ships it to you. Im only suggesting this because not everyone can build a pc but i've never used this type of service confused.gif

I'll give you an example:

Processor (there's also AMD's I think)

intel i3 blah blah (tick boxes on the side here)

intel i3 blah blah

intel i5 2500

intel i5 2500k

intel i7 2600

intel i7 2600k

Case

Coolermaster 370

Coolermaster HAF 932

etc etc
