But it worked in previous build, can you make a check if d3d8 exist, then run windowed mode like in a previous build, and if not, use the latest code. I don't want to use a launcher, because i have two more executables in game folder.

After alt+tab i have white screen instead of intro texture. Save loading didn't work even in fullscreen mode.

The previous code had some very serious problems, I can't switch back to that. If that d3d8.dll is ENB, then the best solution is to use a launcher, since ENB just doesn't understand when full screen mode is switched to windowed, it tries to force some full screen stuff even after switching.

 

If you have multiple exes, you can use this launcher:

http://maxorator.com/v/mvl_launcher.7z

 

You can create a shortcut of it and add "-exe=gta-vc-whatever.exe" to the parameters and it'll launch that executable.

Does this also happen if you have all window related settings turned off - without globalm.xml?

yes.

For more explaning, the problem happend if you or somebody else want to get in the car (so no sound problem if you or somebody else want to get out of the car).

yes.

For more explaning, the problem happend if you or somebody else want to get in the car (so no sound problem if you or somebody else want to get out of the car).

Did this also happen in 0.98?

yes.

no but maybe the problem goes to my pc, in my laptop it load fast, no fps drop...etc but on my computer it load the game slow, drop fps...etc.

What other mods do you have installed? Perhaps try disabling some other asi/flt/d3d8/mss mods and see how it affects the game.

i have vc-mp.flt (i play vcmp), loadsc.asi, rosiefix.asi and CLEO.asi.

 

EDIT:i removed the CLEO.asi and it work's fine, no door sound problem:colgate:biggrin.gif:)

I can ensure rosiefix.asi and loadsc.asi most likely do not cause bugs, neither of them do anything which is processed every frame.

then it is the cleo problem, i removed the cleo.asi and works fine.

Can you test if it's caused by some specific CLEO script or if it happens even when you have no scripts. I cannot reproduce it by just having CLEO installed.

Any progress with no sound problem, after starting the game, until entering-exiting the menu? Looks like after loading game sound process thinks it still in the menu.

This happens on a clean install, right? If not, can you find out which modification causes this?

I think that the problem goes to WheelTurningSpeedAdjuster.cs and text document.

@maxorator or anybody else should check the Wheel Turning Speed Adjuster cleo mod by ThirteenAG.

if no then it goes to those 4 .cs files:

vehicle_mod - cargenerator D

vehicle_mod - cargenerator H

vehicle_mod - cargenerator RS

vehicle_mod - cargenerator S2

Use this. It's happened because my script changes a constant, instead of pointers to it.

Yeah, I can do it, one thing you will need is 3DS Max and some other tools.

@Maxo, do you think you could make it so if we set the wheel dummy rotation to a different angle it does not default it to 0,0,0 rotation.

 

As you can see in the image below I have tried to make the Brushes on the front of the vehicle set as 'wheel_rm' and 'wheel_lm' so they spin when driving but VC seems to set the rotation of the wheel dummy back to 0 so now the brushes are up on there sides.

 

Also I cant use the BF Flywheel as it cant have its rotation changed also and cant be used twice on the same model.

EDIT: On another side note, when EM Light single is activated it can only be seen from the Front or Side Views, when you look from behind your vehicle (aka, Normal Driving Position) you cant see that it is on, can this please be fixed (I know it is a VC Issue and not one caused by you).

These are really tiny,can't really see anything in these...

 

By the way ThirteenAG,how did you get such quality for Vice City?
