@Maxorator,

I found a bug. MVL does not work whenever I click new game after playing for the first time. The commands would not run in the next time but I am not sure if it loads the vehicles. I tried to find out if it loads the vehicles in-game. I have put Ashwin's SA rhino in MVL format already and tried to find it in game by raising the wanted star level, instead I got a crash!!!

BTW I am using the 0.96a version of your loader!

good idea,

& one thing more,

when we open the door of a vehicle then we can pass through it,

there is no door collision,

yes this is really a small bug,

 

@ max

* as you know game use "taillights" dummy for taillights & reverse light both,

can you do something so that we use taillight dummy for night & brake lights

& backlights dummy for reverse light,

 

* as you have given a tag <anims>null</anims> for animation

so can we use some new animations, i mean .7z file contains the animation.ifp for the vehicle

That bug is really annoying! Especially for TCs.

I too was thinking about that *tag anim for putting new animation!

IS it easier to add chain wheel instead of the pneumatic wheel of tank?

 

@Maxorator

Would it be feasible to add custom vehicle's sound for new vehicles just as an option?

Hey, quick question. Does MVL support XML in utf-8 or us-ASCII? I can't the hell make the XML in plain ASCII (using C#) confused.gif

If you don't use non-ASCII characters, UTF-8 and ASCII encodings produce exactly the same file.

Basing on my SA knowlege, adding new animation requires adding new animation style itself, so it isn't only linked to vehicles. Not "a bit of work".

How to add tuning parts to a car? Does it have anything to do with XML file? Also where can I get the tuning parts.

are you sure that when you open this car in 3ds max its size is same, not in looking, click on size tool to check it,

or

add & replace this vehicle with another vehicle & if the problem exist it means the problem is in you Vehicle model,

i can't download 3dmax coz i don't have internet on pc(i'm using mobile to get here)

Btw. Why some sa cars sometimes have 1 light green and 1 light orange(on some cars at front and other on back)?

yes i know about this problem,

this happens because

sa use some colors for headlights & taillights

like we use green & pink on a vehicle for primary color & secondary color in vice city,

it can be fixed by mapping,

i will fixes as soon i open my PC,

& one more thing is that

if you are using mobile for internet then why don't use mobile to browse net on pc by any connectivity ???

because last time i have problems with 3g signal and using only gprs on pc would be slow like hell

San Andreas supports headlight effects so this would be very common feature and more complicated than Vice city engine. So when you convert a vehicle the headlight colors remain default or custom depending upon the preset.

I have 1 car mod, Lamborghini Countach by Suction Testicle Man in the vehicles folder nothing else, is it really that memory intensive? I have a 3.0 ghz pc so im kinda confused. suicidal.gif

Nah, I seriously doubt... I have a whole bunch of car mods, and the game is working pretty much OK. Perhaps you should stream more memory into the EXE? (just a random thought really...)
