Kratos2000
It's about time we should have this thread, we all have our turn offs and it's time we discuss them. This could also go for the Designer's Lounge thread but it's dead and I have already wrote this thread halfway to cancel it anyways. Bring us things that turn you off from downloading a mission - hopefully someone will learn from this. My list, with examples as well. Turn Offs-Short finales: it's the last mission in a very long pack, wouldn't you give it an epic ending instead of a 4 objectives mission? -No animation chaging: While you're making your dialogue, please, do not show us a frame with 2 actors moving their hands at the same time, you could use [hiding] features to let only one actor swing his hands at a time. - I'd like to hear a few more things our designers could think of. This thread could go magnificently well if you read this line again - Bring us things that turn you off from downloading a mission - hopefully someone will learn from this. General Scrotum
Horrible Spelling: It can make the mission hard to understand. Need I say more?
Satourn
Long Rides: The mission where you must drive first from Los Santos to San Fierro, then from San Fierro to Las Venturas, etc.
jetjatin
No Descriptions: Nothing to tell about the mission? Then why you created it?
guib
No action at all, only cutscenes: I find this very boring, even for a intro mission there should be 2 or 3 actors to kill...

xMatix
No picture of the mission: I want to see what is going on in the mission. No description of the mission: There can be 1 sentence, but it must be. Missions where is only 15 objectivies: 10 objectivies is too short. Idiotic title of the mission.
Doublepulse
very noobish descriptions: I do not download many missions, but when i do, I want the designer to try to appeal to his audience descriptions like: "You are sweet you need to kill all the ballas get in the car and drive off the ramp then you meet cj who helps your gang" I would play it, if the person used punctuation and not tell everything in the mission. Just give a hint of what we might expect. Missions with alot of shooting but have no plot or reason behind it: You all know what I mean...I admit I like missions with a lot of shooting and action, but there better be a reason why we are shooting people. "Go here and kill all gang members" is pretty boring with no good text to see.. Short missions: I know some missions are meant to be short.. but I think i can tell whether it has a lot of work or thinking to it or not.
Jackal1337
Uncreative/idiotic mission names: for example: asalto al area 51, MAFIA STORY PART 32 Long drives: Long long drives from SF to LV just to see Mission Passed screen is really frustrating, if u have to have long driving part(which i dont see any real reason for) atleast make the driving more interesting somehow, and after long drive there should be more than just Mission Passed text

TheDru1d
No description: How will I know what I am downloading? No effort: 4 objectives, 1 car, 1 actor, no objects. I know enough. This mission is not worth my time Non English Missions: Sorry, I don't speak Spanish/Italian/Polish/Whatever Bad English: I understand some people's grasp of the English language is mediocre at best, but if it stops making any sense I won't download that mission or stop playing. Kratos2000
Well it was meant to be a discussion. so discuss your stuff with others please, gentlemen. How about simple text? I'm encountering many missions where people use the most simple dialogues possible. What I mean is - replacing "Mike micky you're gonna die muthaf*cka" with "Your next stop is the funeral, I shall set you free" You got the point, anyone? My first missions were pretty noobish, now I learned to replace my dialog with something badass. Exactly my plan for The Story Of Cosimo Bettino. Others should try it too. Drift-Kingz
Low number of Objectives: Just shows how much effort is put into the missions. 7 objectives in 1 mission - not downloading. Why? It's too short, and like I said, no effort. If the missions consists of more objectives, and seems a bit interesting, I will download it. But nonetheless, a low number of objectives just showcases a bad mission (unless it's an intro to a mission series of some sort - that really isn't a problem at all). 0G THUG
I see that people are talking about number of objectives in missions. In my missions are from 40-80 objectives. But people still won't download my missions. That is wrong?
Drift-Kingz
No, unless you didn't make it interesting enough.
