Gramps
Hi guys, Just wondering what the best method of comparing two mods data files, and merging them into one? Lets say, if two mods altered the gta.dat mod, how to find out which mod modifies which lines in the file, so that they can be merged I'm wanting to merge the gta.dat file from Ryosuke's Skin Selector, and PO2010 (eventually I'll want to add in den_spb Railway Algorithm) Which all 3 mods alter the gta.dat file, and require the modified file to work for each mod. Help would be much appreciated.
ZAZ
Ryosuke's Skin Selector requires the skin.img because he scans for the models of this file If other mods don't do the same but just provide an img file which include models you can extract the models and add them into gta3.img. I don't know den_spb Railway, don't know which entries it needs PO2010, you mean the real.img ? add the content into gta3.img Edited May 21, 2011 by ZAZ CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
Gramps
I don't want my gta3.img file to large, its already popping out at 3.7GB. I used program WinMerge to compare documents side by side, with highlighting of differences, and was able to copy paste, from one file to another, and save, all in WinMerge. Beats manually scanning with Notepad
